St Cuthbert's, Earls Court

The most extraordinary and historical hidden gem of a church, in Earls Court. A magnificent building, full of history, traditional high church services, sublime music and a choir that is a spiritual balm for the soul. Friendly and eclectic congregation - all visitors, be them regulars or those visiting are made very welcome. Super opportunity to mingle afterward service and enjoy refreshments with the congregation also to meet Father Paul and Father James. The church also provides an invaluable resource for Earls Court, with lots of support activities. Music concerts, film conventions and other community events take place throughout the year too.

Beautiful church. The interior is really nice, full of character. The most impressive thing is the acoustics. We watched acapella concert here and the sound was perfect. No need for microphones.

Everything was beautiful... The homilies are as gritty and down to earth as the building is elaborate, gilded, lovely. I have been to high Mass and the music is extraordinary. I have also been touched by the friendly welcome and very sweet priest.

A lovely big building with quite a delightful interior, it's the type of place you really need to take a look at and see for yourselves. Huge columns inside and great vantage points, they also host local and charitable functions from their church and their community hall, a lovely hall, also that has some great glass paned windows. Impressive in design generally but not intimidating, and quite welcoming. A nice place. Located at Philbeach Gardens.

St Cuthberts Church really is one of the most beautiful hidden treasures of Earls Court. I love to visit this smoky old gothic monument whenever I can. Nothing quite prepares you for its interior with its beautiful pulpit (oddly placed halfway down the church?) and a beautiful series of paintings by Franz Vinck of Antwerp which run around the interior of the church depicting the twelve stations of the cross. It can feel a little dark when you're inside, but to me that just adds to this churches majesty. It really is quite an experience.

Probably the most terrifying church I've ever been to. In the bleak midwinter it's a particularly gloomy place; dark walls and with ominous paintings and statues everywhere. Really interesting place!

Extraordinary anglo catholic parish church with amazing interior. Attached is the St Cuthbert's centre which serves vulnerable, and homeless people, giving support, food and care. Excellent vicar, also.

Beautiful hidden gem, the interior of the church is stunning, and the congregation and Pastor are extremely welcoming.

WHat an amazing building. What an amazing priest and religius advisor. This place is a London gem. Rev'd Father Paul Baggot is giving life to this Church and its heart is starting to beat very healthly.

Beautifully elaborate interior design and decoration, much of which is art-deco. Definitely worth a visit! No photos unfortunately!

Pretty Catholic church. We went for Christmas - it was really beautiful inside, and is well worth a look around.
