Christ Church Kensington

I looked up churches in Kensington area on Google Maps and Christ Church Kensington come across nicely. I attended the evening service and found it really lovely. People were super friendly and loving. The preaching seemed to be gospel-centered.

I had a great experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a faithful Bible teaching church!

It was the most vibrant Church of England congregations I have visited in England. The order of service was well planned. Beautiful singing by choir. Loved the sermon too. It gave a deep insight into the Bible passage chosen for the day.

Wonderful garden, beautifully maintained

Delightful church ( Church of England ) and a splendid church community. Sunday school , concerts, inter alia. This is just what a church should be. Very well kept gardens surrounding the church.
Christ Church was built in 1851. The architect was Benjamin Ferry , a pupil of the younger Pugin.The interior has been tastefully changed and makes better use of the church , thanks to Admiral of the Fleet Sir Charles Madden , a philanthropist who served this church for many years. And I remember the splendid Canon Andrew Pearson who served here for many years.
Can be reached by walking into Kynance Mews and walking up some steps to the church ( if coming from Gloucester Road and a 49 bus ) , or just walk down Victoria Road .

Lovely building. The surrounding garden was maintained by the local children growing vegetables. God's acre.

The teaching is excellent and accessible.

A very friendly church with good teaching. I would recommend if you're looking for a new church or interested in Christianity or just want to ask any questions. There will always be someone to have an intellectual discussion with. There's also a strong student presence, with a service on Sunday evenings.

This lovely church has featured as a landmark and place of worship throughout my life.
Wonderful and a source of much strength and comfort . And a beautiful garden too.
