Amazing speciality pastries and treats at this branch that you can't get at the other branches. Flaky, buttery, delicious pastries that satisfy your pastry fix. The coffee here is amazing with a decaf option. The artisan organic sourdough bread from wholegrain to white is super tasty. Queues are long in the morning but it's worth it as they sell out fast, and the queue moves fast.

I recently visited this great bakery and it’s new coffee shop in Bermondsey I was so impressed! The pastries were made with real butter and high-quality flour, and the dark chocolate was delicious. You can really taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients. It's a true local gem and I've been visiting it often since I moved to the area (before they were selling straight from the bakery premises under the bridge). The only downside is that the opening times keep changing, and the early morning opening hours have shifted from 7am to 8:30am. It's a shame that the bakery closes earlier in the day, so it's too late when I come back from work and too early when I'm heading to work. Other than that, I'm always happy with my visits to this great bakery!

Stopped by Sunday just after their closing time and the team were still happy to serve us. Pastries were beautiful (we had cardamom and cinnamon buns, very tasty!), now we’re looking forward to tucking into our seeded sourdough bread.

Excellent service and lovely staff! We will be back again

Everything looked great but I went for the chocolate hazelnut croissant - crispy and flakey outside with soft chocolate hazelnut deliciousness on the inside. Very much recommended! Also they do a good wee selection of jams and condiments at far more reasonable prices than you find in other shops in London

Wow! A bakery with a mission! There undold bread is given away for free to minimise foodwaste!

Lovely bakery and coffee shop. Super friendly staff! The portobello mushroom grilled sandwich is delicious and just a fantastic ambience. Super thanks to the man behind the counter in the cap! The whole place is a lovely addition to the area!

I've visited this place couple times to pick up a Christmas Panettone and an Eastern Colomba, so I'd be judging those products. I have to say these stack up really well against Italian artisan made products, so fresh, moist, on point in terms of sweetness (not overly sweet), yet with a distinct personality in taste, possibly due to the use of Tonka Beans (not common in classic italian panettoni/colombe). Very very impressed, you should be proud of these Made in London delicacies.

I've had Pain au Chocolats from many artisan bakeries in London. But the ones from LBP are by far the best. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, buttery in the inside and filled with dark chocolate - simply a perfect Pain au Chocolat! But it doesn't stop there. Everything I had was well done and has been really tasty - esp. their sourdough loaf. Can't wait to go back!

Great space, awesome cardamom buns. My favourite bakery since I moved into the area. Nice to see the guys growing and moving to that new locality. Definitely worth visiting.

I'm way more familiar with the Lower Marsh branch, but had to check out this one as it's closer to me and I spotted it whilst on a run. Super tucked away place! So it was a little difficult to find. Came in, and loved the bustle of energy and presentation of all the cool baked goods. Had to get my favourite the Bostock (I'm really biased haha!). Overall cool place💪

Best bread in town, by a mile. And the most amazing sweet and savoury pastries. Not cheap, but an absolutely wonderful weekend treat.

A hidden gem! Their pastries are just amazing with great quality butter watering your mouth and with very well-defined flakes. The almond croissant is my favorite in London, very crunchy and the filling is top-notch. The cinnamon bun is a masterpiece with thin layers crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The hazelnut pain-au-choc is a bit too sweet to my taste but the valhorna filling is just irresistible

Hey! Love the bread pedlar and been going for years a couple of times a month coming from Bexley. I think its the best sourdough in London. It was great you opened the new coffee shop, but was sad when you stopped opening your bakery shutters at a weekend. I went this week and the shutters mini shop was open - this is great for the weekend if you don't want to get in the queues for the coffee shop part. So thank you for doing that again!

Some of the best pastries ever without exaggeration! Absolutely try the Kouign Amman, you won’t find anything else as buttery, flaky and caramelly in life

Only wish the staff were a bit friendlier :)

Seriously the best croissant and pain au chocolat in London. There will always be a queue, because it's that good, and you'll be impressed with anything you get. Definitely worth a visit.

Just divine. Love both the croissant and savoury pastry and couldn’t resist tucking in before I took the picture! The savoury pastry is really special, I can taste a mix of cheese, cream sauce and leek in the filling.
