Archway Leisure Centre

I haven’t been back to this gym for years. But as better gym goes, this is one of the best, it has a really nice vibrant gym, swimming pool and sauna. So good to see such massive improvements.

Fantastic swimming lessons this half term. My son was afraid to put his face in the water and after the week of lessons was up his whole head was underwater. Really calm and trusting teaching with clear directions. Highly recommend.

Swimming pool is great but it hasn't changed I was a child.

Still my favourite place to swim during the day. The staff are lovely and helpful. It's local and easy to get to. The gym is great too, it's a local leisure centre worth supporting.

I joined this gym in May earlier this year, and for the majority of my time coming here I wished I had never got a membership.

With the redevelopment though they have properly turned it around. New equipment, a free weights area miles better than the old one; two squat racks and space for dumbbells and deadlifts. I'm hesitant to give a good review cause it's nice having this gym to myself but I think the people working there deserve some recognition after all the bad reviews (which were deserved, the gym used to be basically derelict). Good work.

Edit: one comment, get more 5, 2.5 & 1.25 kg weights. There's plenty of 10s and 20s but not enough smaller plates

Archway swimming pool is enjoyable for kids and even adults. It features a small jacuzzi for babies, a deep jacuzzi, a small slide for kids, a gigantic slide and last but not least, waves! I was welcomed on my first time there. It's a really nice swimming pool.

I have been a member for many months prior to lock down, my time as a member there was exceptional. The staff especially the GM is amazing. He was very professional and the staff in his team are very helpful. The cleanliness and facilities are second to none. Highly recommend this gym and the centre. I’m looking forward to the opening

Very friendly staff and patrons. Nice atmosphere. It is a leisure pool rather than an Olympic pool but perfectly suitable for casual lane swimming.

This is my local leisure centre and ive been coming here since 1996, I have seen some changes over the years but for me it's my favourite of all the Better leisure centres.

The staff are always helpful and friendly, the place is always immaculately clean and welcoming. The modern gym is fantastic with air conditioning so you do not overheat. The pool is an added bonus along with the jacuzzi and other facilities.

The memberships are very reasonable and great value, and it's in a super location. Best gym around thats my opinion.

The place has good facilities, the machines work correctly, however people do not usually clean them after using them. What really stands out is the staff, they are always willing to help and there are some that make your day with your comments like the girl at the reception Daniela, you definitely see that she loves her job. I also really liked how she took the time to explain every membership available and help me decide which was best for me. Good place 👌👌I recommend it.

The kids love coming here because I once broke my toe on the water slide. To be fair it is pretty good with a slide, waterfall type bit and a wave machine, though that last is a bit lame. I have never caught a verucca there. Changing rooms are communal

Children attend this leisure centre for swimming lessons every week.

Good instructors who mix team sessions with individual one to one.

The Children love it.

The price for the monthly roll on cost per child is reasonable.

Lovely day with my three nieces and my cousin’s partner. We had a great time. Lifeguards are extra cautious with everyone’s safety which I totally respect and appreciate. Looking forward to the slide opening soon.

We went for a swim with the kids. It has a slide and waves. It has a small jacuzzi too. The changing rooms are clean as well as the pool area.

Best Leisure Centre pool for families that we've visited in London. Demand is high so visits are arranged in 90 min time slots. That was a good amount for my kids. They loved it and want to return. Note that it is crowded but hey, that's London.

My son goes swimming at the Archway Leisure Centre and he has done so much progress. Their prices are very reasonable and the classes might not be small but I feel each child gets petty of attention during the 30min swimming.
I highly recommend it.

Good leisure centre. I'm using only the pool and it's ok. Quite clean, usually not busy. Strange shape for a pool (go and see it 😜) but does the job. Very friendly people working there too. Recommended

This is a very good pool I go there every week. Maybe the changing rooms are a bit bad but after all they got aq very nice gym and an amazing swimming pool with slides,waves,bubbles and much more enjoy it everytime.Also the staff are very helpful and there fun all they want to make sure is that you are safe at then end of the day!

I’ve been here using the swimming pool, by simply booking a slot for “Swimming for fitness”. I liked the quiet and relaxed atmosphere that I found. Friendly staff members.
