We hired Jules to paint our nursery. He did a fantastic job and provided incredibly valuable advice in terms of colour recommendations. He was professional throughout- great communication, trustworthy and timely. We cannot recommend his services enough.

Jules painted my bedroom and hall and did an excellent job. He puts a lot of effort into preparation and is very clean and tidy with great attention to detail. Jules is a very affable person and very easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend !

Jules did a great job, with excellent attention to detail and a correspondingly high quality result.
He has a considered approach to what is needed, skilfully creating a straight line at the top of the wall, and thereby completely masking the unevenness of the ceiling where it joins the wall.
A really high standard of filling and painting throughout that I’m sure will last well. He’s thoughtful and considerate to his hosts, and I would thoroughly recommend him.

It's rare to find a decorator who takes as much pride in his work as Julian does. He repainted my entire rather large flat with meticulous attention to detail you would have though he was painting his own place. It is also rare to find someone in this line of work he does not leave a trail of destruction and mess behind them, Julian ( and the fabulous AG ) left everything spotless. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely be coming back for more.

Julian blew me away with the care and attention to detail he put into repainting my 1 bed flat. The work is of an incredibly high standard and I will certainly be using his services again. Julian did an amazing job at our flat recently, and went above our expectations. We previously worked with a bad contractor for our wooden staircase; Julian managed to fix/ repair and make the whole thing looking great. Plus the lobby painting job was also very well executed. Julian is serious, meticulous and have lots of helpful ideas. I would highly recommend him for any decoration job.

We needed our balcony doors and windows painted plus some small other jobs including dealing with a damp wall.
Jules did a very considered and meticulous job, identifying the damp problem and taking the time to get a great finish and be sure we were satisfied with the results – which we were. And all for a very reasonable price!

Jules did an absolutely tremendous job. I'm normally wary of engaging tradespeople without a personal recommendation, but in this case, Jules fully deserves his high reviews. He came over before the job to inspect the three rooms that needed painting, provided very thoughtful advice on the dilemmas I had and even made recommendations that brought the overall cost down (a rare thing in of itself!).

But where Jules stands out is the quality of the work - simply amazing. Meticulous attention to detail, extremely considerate to his surroundings and makes sure the job is done right - if a wall needs three coats, he gives it three coats until it's the way it should be. No overspills, no mess - I had friends over one of the evenings after he finished the day's work and everyone commented on how neat the place looked, despite being mid-painting! And he was always happy to explain what he was doing and why.

To top it off, he's just a really nice person to deal with as well. I won't go anywhere else in the future and can only heartily recommend Jules to anyone in need of an exceptional painter/decorator.

Julian clearly loves his job.
Julian sets very high standards and achieves them. His attention to detail is impressive, and he is ultra careful and respectful of furniture etc.
After his initial visit and a chat, I expected a good job. I got an outstanding job, at a good price.

Julian’s eye for a colour scheme persuaded me to go for something radically different to what I had planned. It’s making me very happy!

Also, Julian has excellent taste in music, and is a very nice bloke!

Julian recently painted and did some repair work in my bedroom and hall, including a wardrobe and other woodwork. I could not recommend him highly enough. The painting has transformed the space completely and looks fantastic. Julian provided great advice initially and took time to understand exactly what I was looking for and the desired effect. The work itself is excellent; really high quality with perfect edges, clean lines etc. The work was completed really quickly and he left the place completely spotless, even going the extra mile to polish up my light shades that I wasn’t able to reach. I’m absolutely delighted and will definitely work with Julian again.

We needed to freshen up our flat in preparation to going on the market. Julian and Greg were fantastic. The work, the quality (and the conversations) were fantastic. Julian was responsive, professional and insightful. We will definitely be working with Julian when we move into our new home. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

Julian did some work for us recently decorating a flat to get it ready for renting. We were on a very tight schedule, but Julian managed to fit us despite being very busy himself and finished the work promptly, but without compromising on quality. He had a lot of really helpful advice on what work needed doing as a priority, and also on what we should be looking to do longer term. I'm really pleased with the work Julian has done and found him very pleasant to work with, easygoing, responsive, trustworthy, and clearly prepared to go the extra mile to do a high-quality job. Would definitely use him again!

Julian's work really is of an unusually high standard and what's obvious is how diligent he is in preparing for any decoration, always respecting the building, before the painting begins. The results speak for themselves and our hallway is transformed.

Julian's also very sensitive to colour, light and space, and what might work well/less well in the context of the rest of your home, so is worth listening to in this respect. Very professional overall.
