Gousto

Very Happy :) Received my first box: on time (central London), all fresh and looking delicious. Korean chicken was a family winner, next is the duck massala - cant wait! The only challenge was to decide which of the many recipes to choose from.

Gousto has been a great experience for me, is everything perfect? Not quite, occasional mishaps - but that's to be expected. All in all however Gousto has been a catalyst for me learning to cook, the menus are simple and easy to follow and the ingredients just right - as such it takes any stress out of it and you can focus on cooking, which makes learning techniques and flavour combinations all the better.

I suspect most people using Gousto actually love it and you just get the naysayers on here lowering the score, I've had over 100 deliveries and not had 1 bad meal, and only a couple I'd even term average.

This is my favourite meal delivery company ever. I have tried various other from small companies to giants like hello fresh and these are by far the most interesting and Delicious dishes I had. I like that the menu changes regularly and you get awesome variety of beautiful dishes. Packed with flavour and very high quality ingredients

Decided to try Gousto as a lot of people I spoke to said they were better value for money than HelloFresh/Mindful Chef.

So pleased with the box! Came on time with all fresh ingredients. Got a recipe binder style book with the order which I have added my 4 new recipes in. Made the King Prawn jalfrezi with jeera rice today. Was delicious and so easy to make. Really pleased and looking forward to my next box in a weeks time 👍

Little shame others below have had a bad experience, but hoping my next box is just as good as the first!

Gousto really did make a huge positive difference to our cooking habits! We love to cook, but we do not have time to be creative and the weekly shopping proved to be inefficient (a lot of food waste even if we use it as compost), costly and above all, boring. Now, we have delicious varied recipes coming to our front door every two weeks, with the right amount of ingredients and it is something to really look forward to. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and I am really glad the vegetables are not packed in plastic! The box is recyclable (cardboard) as well as the sort of "blanket" they use to keep fresh ingredients cool (you can use it as compost). There is still quite a lot of plastic used to pack the herbs and spices, so maybe something to look to improve Gousto? Otherwise, 5 stars for this incredible service. I forgot to mention the price as well, which is extremely competitive (£40 for 4 meals for two).

I’ve been a customer of Gousto for many months on and off. I was recently referred to Hello Fresh by a friend but after experiencing a terrible service, poor quality and missing ingredients, I’ve since returned back to Gousto.

Absolutely love it ❤ plenty recipes to choose from. All easy to fallow, nu stress or fuss. Been usint them for 3 years and never had a missing item or spoiled ingredients.

I use to waist so much time and money on grocery shopping and ended up throwing away so much food.
What a brilliant idea Gousto is! No more boring meals.
I now spend less money and less time and have fresh fragrant and delicious meals.

We love Gousto boxes. We've been using them for more than a year, receiving one box weekly, and we've only had a problem with the delivery once or twice (and even that was easily resolved). The selection of the recipes is absolutely amazing, we are always able to pick tasty dishes that are also healthy and don't feel repetitive. This has definitely been one of the best things we discovered when the working from home started :)

We have been using Gousto a little while now and I am so impressed! For someone who isn’t a creative cook and rely on same old recipes this is a godsend, my kids are excited to know what’s for dinner each day, great variety of recipes and everything is fresh and tasty , and so easy to make , everything is included ready to cook after a long day so no up and down to supermarket . No waste of money or produce , easier on the pocket and the environment…. I am thrilled … I would highly recommend

I have recently started using Gousto and I am so impressed! It is so easy to order and when the food is delivered it is well packed and easy to sort.
Most importantly the food is delicious and the portion sizes are generous (we order for 2 people) I was getting so bored making the same dinners week in and week out but now I actually look forward to dinner again!

We tried other meal subscriptions before Gousto and had so many issues from missing ingredients to really poor choices for vegetarians. We haven’t had a single problem with Gousto and are loving it. The recipes have all been easy to follow and the meals are fantastic. We haven’t had to get the same thing twice yet, but definitely have some favourites that we will be reordering. We’d recommend getting the free binder so you can save up all your recipe cards and keep them handy. There’s a great selection of meat free alternatives to most dishes which together with the great value and consistent quality ticks all of our boxes. If you are looking at trying a meal subscription and you’re not sure who to go with we would absolutely recommend Gousto over HelloFresh. We now order it regularly and only take the occasional break when we have other plans or won’t be at home.

There are just not enough superlatives to allow me to praise Gousto enough – it is incredible on every level! I am a proper can’t cook/won’t cook girl with zero skills or interest in cooking. There is generally more fresh air in my fridge than food!

Honestly, you are doing EVERYTHING right and exceeding all expectations I could ever have. I shall be continuing to order and will tell all my friends (who will wonder what the heck has happened to the old me!)

We are a family of foodies and my mum is an amazing cook so a little dubious about this sort of thing, but a friend had a discount voucher so we thought we would give things a go. We have been very pleasantly surprised! Quick to prepare, healthy and above all else tasty food in our box from cuisines we wouldn't usually eat . Watch the order cut off date (I missed it when I was under the weather) but Fez at the helpline was brilliant and let me order a box for the day after as I was still learning the ropes. The boxes have been very well received during this busy summer month for us and will remain a useful treat for when there just aren't enough hours in the day! Top-tip: cook you own vegetables to add to each meal to make things even healthier and go that bit further.

This has changed the way we eat as a family. I was sceptical at first but now we can’t live without it. Family of 5 with 3 young kids and I am all out of mind space for thinking of what to eat for dinner. And I don’t want to feed my kids processed rubbish and make them unenjoyable picky eaters. My children eat this and we eat as a family! The children (7,3 and 1) love to pick the recipes on the app, and help put away the box and then choose which recipe to make. They love to help me cook and follow the recipe and it gets them away from the TV and actually teaches them something as well. There’s almost every aspect of primary education in cooking. I sometimes have to get more than 1 box a week because it’s a very sad night when we don’t have gousto to make and moreover I then have to think. Sometimes my husband makes the gousto dinner but he is not great at following instructions.

Only two weeks in but so far everything has been great. App is super easy to use, selection is pretty big. It has already opened me up to styles and flavours that I have not tried previously. While also being super easy and quick. Plus because you use all the food they provide my fridge doesn't have 3 week old food smelling up the place.

I love Gousto. It’s so convenient and not a disappointing meal yet. Every week we get our big red box with ice packs, fresh food, recipe cards and the right amount of all the ingredients. It’s really easy to prepare great tasting food. I’d say it’s certainly no dearer than buying the same as ready meals from the supermarket if not cheaper. But the fact you can prepare the fresh ingredients yourself is part of the joy of Gousto.

Had 4 meals a week from Gousto for the last 2 or 3 years. I think they're an absolutely brilliant company. The meals are varied and delicious, the ingredients are fresh 99.9% of the time (and the customer service is spot on the odd time something is wrong), and the recipes and clear and easy to follow. Highly recommended! Also, great website.

We have been using Gousto since the start of the pandemic and it has been a lifesaver. Great variety, good value, healthy meals. Occasionally have missing ingredients but I have found their customer service to be excellent - so easy to claim a bit of money back. It has transformed our meal times, thank you!

We have been ordering Gousto for almost 5 months now and we are extremely happy with every order!
We have tried different company once and regretted immediately.
Sometimes, regarding to supply issue one ingredient is missing so they swap it to something else & always inform us before the box is even sent. So no issues with that.
And the food is amazing! We love it so much and if we have a few days break between orders we cant wait to receive it! Its like having food from 5star restaurant in your own house.
