Usually inviting tradesmen into the home is a stressful and traumatic experience. Amy and her team are just the opposite. They’re lightning fast, work super hard, and are extremely professional and polite. Just a joy to have around. Amy is very clear with her pricing, no surprise costs. They’re really respectful and careful of your home—shoes off, no touching of freshly painted walls, tidied up after themselves, vacuumed etc. They really know their stuff, I’ll be recommending to anyone who asks if I know an electrician!

The switch on my oven broke, and the oven completely stopped working. I've never managed to find a reliable electrician I can trust, so I was very pleased to have found Amy's Electrics via a Google search. They were absolutely lovely - super professional, friendly, and efficient - and cleaned up afterwards. I would recommend without hesitation!

Outstanding. Amy and one of assistants fitted some lights for us and sorted out a few smaller tasks too ( new switches for other lights, fixed some wires outside, hid some open wires). They were super efficient, left the work space totally spotless and did a great job - highly recommend.

We need a switch changing. Amy was great. She’s friendly and easy to communicate with. Booking an appointment was really straightforward, she arrived exactly when she said she would and were really pleased with the job. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

Amy and Tash showed up bang on time and resolved the issue that electricians from another company were unable to locate over two previous appointments. They were friendly, precise, cleaned up after themselves, explained everything they did and went above and beyond by spotting a couple of other errors from the previous contractors and rectifying them in addition to what I'd called them out to do. This business charges by the hour but you have never seen electricians move so fast so the value for money is excellent.

Tash and Nicki (unsure of spelling, apologies!) just came by to fix my bathroom fixtures & lights and did so very efficiently, friendly and neatly! I wish I could give them an extra star... They will be back to upgrade my fire alarms and heat sensor and I'm looking forward to having them back. Thank you Amy and her great team!

Professional, efficient, transparent pricing-the Holy Grail except more useful

As the title of this review suggests this company was fantastic. They had the patience and knowledge to identify the problem, solved it quickly and efficiently and I knew what it was going to cost because of their clear pricing policy on the website. Part of me doesn't want to recommend them because once you used Amy's Electrics it's unlikely you'll go elsewhere else and that's going to make them very busy. But in a bid to live a more selfless life I'm going to be kind and share the joy.

Squeezed me in at very short notice with an emergency bathroom lighting situation. Happily fitted round my health needs. Friendly and flexible on the parking scenario. Did the job perfectly and fast, with the creative twist I wanted. Threw in great ideas on getting some other fixes done in the future. All whilst being generally lovely. Thanks Amy's Electrics. I won't hesitate to recommend you.

The buyers for our flat booked Amy's Electrics for an electrical inspection and they were the perfect tradespeople. Nothing was a problem, they were friendly, thorough and efficient, explained anything they did and even got a light working that hadn't done so for years. I was so impressed that I asked for a card so if in my new flat I need electrical work done, I can employ them and pass on their details to friends.

Amy and Katie were the kind of people I could get on with and not feel stupid asking if I didn't understand something. If I can champion people with great skills then I will, regardless of gender, but I know several women who live alone or would be home alone with tradespeople and would feel safer and more able to ask questions of other women than with tradesmen. I would definitely recommend this company.

Company on 3 separate occasions both Amy in person and also her team on separate occasion and the level of service and expert advice was 2nd to None!! I have recommend Amy to friends of mine across the north London Region and so far all I hear is great feedback. I totally trust Amy and her team and will only use Amy’s electrics from now on! I booked Amy as she came highly recommended within the neighbourhood. I needed a new fuse board and landlord certificates.

Recommended to me by my neighbour, I received amazing service from Amy’s Electrics. I emailed about a job late afternoon, received a reply early the next morning, and two delightful electricians arrived later that same day. They fixed the problem, carrying out the work quickly and carefully, with the utmost respect for me and my property. What a lovely, refreshingly helpful company to have found. I now know who to call for any future electrical work.

Even when there have been tricky scenarios, I have felt comforted by their ‘anything is possible’ attitude & tenacity to solve problems.

They always are quick to recommend other trades & have put me in touch with some fabulous other people, who all together, have made my place my home.

So I had a malfunctioning carbon monoxide alarm. But I didn’t know that so we had taken the entire smoke alarm unit out of the ceiling and the beeping continued - every minute for more than 72 hours! It was like Chinese water torture. I phoned the trusty Amy who was busy on a job and she called back quickly with over the phone advice to avoid the call-out fee. Her advice worked and we found the defunct CO alarm hidden in the kitchen. Fab result just before the long weekend and no fee!! What fantastic advice to have on tap. Couldn’t recommend Amy more highly!

Stop the search! You're not going to find a better electrician. Amy fixed my kitchen and bathroom spotlights speedily, giving me a range of options and prices. And she fixed two other electrical problems in the same visit - including a fitting a new bathroom fan (which had been broken for so long, I'd almost forgotten it was there). It was an absolute delight having Amy and Katie in my home too and I recommend them highly.

I’ve used Amy’s electrics for a few years now and their consistency, punctuality and professional behaviour have never ceased to amaze me. It’s always great to have female trades on site too. They came round this morning to to relocate sockets and were as impressive as usual. Thanks team.
