Just threw my birthday party here. Had absolutely the best time. Kath and her team were really nice, all details of the party were discussed beforehand through the call and they really tried their best to accommodate us.

Staff were super helpful and nice, we felt welcomed. Drinks are really nice as well, I liked the mocktail I got bc I don’t drink but my guests seem to like their alcoholic drinks.

The atmosphere was absolutely the best, there are so many interesting pieces throughout the space, you can tell they really tried to create a unique space.

Overall an awesome experience we had at the bar, will def come back w a smaller group and enjoy the front space a lil more. They also have a gallery space upstairs, make sure you ask if there is anything going on when you are there.

I absolutely LOVE Ninetyeight bar! I discovered it whilst having dinner with a client and we stumbled across the entrance (it's a little old-school style staircase that leads into the bar - super cute!)

After having some drinks and speaking with the staff and owner, Kath (the owner) gave us an amazing tour of all the rooms in this bar, which is SUPER cool! There are so many amazing rooms here for different vibes and people and I'd absolutely love for more people to find this hidden gem in the Shoreditch area of London!

Hope to bring more of my colleagues, friends and clients here in the future!

Lovely lovely place & one of my local favourites.
Don't be intimidated by the sometimes unfriendly bouncers, that's the only downside.
The place is quirky, decorated with and incredible eye for detail and lots of love by Kath, the darling owner of 98.
Cocktails are great and come with fun decoration and trimmings (try the hard shake to get your avocado fix with a twist - fruity & smooth).
Have your choice of colourful all sorts in the front, outdoor greenery in the covered courtyard or mummified baroque in the small back room.
If you're lucky the tiki bar in the back is open which proves of the creative genius that takes care of every detail of this place including custom towels for guests to sit on.
The one thing I'd say needs updating one day is the sound system.

Go here with friends, on dates, with big groups (do call for reservations) or to show off how great London is to one of your friend from out of town

Great cosy, strange and attractive place! You'll see the decoration from 1000 different places, all great together. Great cocktail barmen, new menus frequently and cool waiters. Hidden spot in London, worth checking out for a chilled - or not - drink.

Drinks are unreal. Presentation is extraordinary!!! Prices are reasonable all drinks are roughly 10pound but their drinks are very impressive! I ordered a whiskey sour and it came in a suitcase and they opened the suitcase and it was filled with smoke and when it cleared .. My cocktail appeared! Very funky colourful place! Would certainly recommend!

Great vibe, great decor. Drinks were fantastic and bartender gave us a great drinks consultancy making us comfortable in our choices and wanted to explore other options. We sat at the Lego table, great fun! Will definitely be back, would be a great place to hire for a birthday party or go on a date!!! Xxx

Went here before Covid 19. Really nice, unique and quirky bar. Cocktails were really good. The only thing I could complain about is the seating arrangements weren't all the best. We originally sat on 2 armchairs facing each other with a big table in the middle. This make it hard to have a proper conversation. Recommend the bar staff look at changing this arrangement if they haven't already. As far as we could see, the rest of the seating was perfectly adequate.

We had an amazing time! The decoration is artistically crazy yet inviting , feels like visiting an interesting friend's home.We didn't have a reservation but the people there have us the room at the back.We tried different cocktails all served with care and lots of smiles!! Extremely happy with their customer service, will recommend shinnerman for the lovers or sweet cocktails, cinnamon and black cherries. Again lots of congratulations to the waitresses (especially to the Spanish girl with, don't know her name) .I can imagine it being my spot, will definitely revisit.want to share this small treasure with the friends that will appreciate the special and quirky vibe! <3

This is a hidden gem. Staff are amazing and the first cocktail I tried was so good I stuck to it. Highly recommend The Picante. We found this by accident, but so glad we did.

Love this place. Great cocktails, fabulous decor, and lovely atmosphere.
It's broken up, so works really well for small groups, if you like that ability to explore.

It is small, so can be a bit hit or miss getting in, as their usually busy, and it does close early, so put it at the start of your night out.

Wow, how have I only just discovered this gem of a bar. My husband and I visited midweek for a few of the yummiest cocktails served by lovely, friendly bar staff.

To our delight his whisky was served in a closed treasure chest which when opened released lots of smoke which flavoured the whisky. It was pretty impressive and magical.

I have now booked an area for my friends 30th birthday drinks, cant wait! x

I came here to meet some friends during London Cocktail Week and what a great find! This place had beautiful decor, a piano and was great for small groups with seating scattered in the different rooms. Cocktails were delicious and staff were helpful.

I'm so impressed with this bar! Popped in on Saturday for a catchup with a friend and I instantly fell in love with the decor and personality. It's beautifully decorated and feel luxurious. The cocktails are also divine. My friend had a spicy one, garnished with a chilli, and I had a delicious fruity one mixed with campari - it was garnished with a fresh slice of guava. We drank them at a piano, which really just made my night.

I'll totally be back here for cocktails, and would recommend it for girls' night, first dates and intimate social gatherings.

Had a great time here! This place is so unique and eclectic in the best kind of way, plus the staff were absolutely incredible. Can't wait to come back!
