Village Vet Brackenbury

Jessica and Lucija are brilliant vets and also just really nice humans, the nurses are caring and personable and the receptionist is friendly and welcoming; the whole practice exudes care and friendliness. They are extremely pragmatic, the care is very personal and you don't just feel like another job. In a world of corporate over-priced veterinary care, this is absolutely the opposite - they are honest with their advice, you feel very much that the treatment is centred entirely on the welfare of the animal patient, rather than the finances (which is not how I've felt elsewhere in other hospitals and practices) and, as a result of such trustworthy care and service, they have my loyalty forever! I cannot recommend them more highly; even if you live a bit further away, this vet practice is worth travelling for!

I took these two, Luna and Monet for their 3 months vaccination and check up. The service was excellent. The receptionist was lovely abd very friendly. Definitely recommended.

Sam was our vet today, she was so friendly and fun and made our scary vaccination visit an absolute joy. Boba was skipping home :)

Friendly and professional team throughout. The Vet was very explanatory and made sure I understood clearly what was the problem, causes and treatment. My cat was feeling much better within a few hours and back to normal within a couple of days. Been a patient there for 9 years and they have had never the slightest fault in their service at all. Highly recommend them.

The team at Brackenbury village vets are the best. They always give my dogs the best treatment and love, and their ethics are unfaltering. You never feel like “just a case” because you know they genuinely care about your pets and their wellbeing. Best vets in the west!

I really like this vet. They are really accommodating and have fitted me into a full schedule recently to help my cat who needed pain relief urgently. They are very friendly and very gentle with cats, who require a different kind of approach to dogs. In my opinion the value for money they offer is excellent as the fees are fairly standard for a vet but the quality of care is absolutely excellent. So grateful to have a good quality vet so locally.

Very quick process to register. The vet I saw was knowledgeable and gave a good overall health check for my cat. Staff members were polite and the service overall was very time efficient. A good local vet practice and recommended. Update 6 years on - still very happy! Thank you!

We've been taking our cat to this practice for her annual checkup and vaccinations for the past 5 years. Staff members are all very friendly and helpful. They also offer a cat boarding service, which we used a couple of times without any issues.

They did an excellent job on Cali's neutering. I knew she was in safe hands. They were very efficient from start to end. The Village vets is a very clean environment. They gave clear post op instructions. Scar is clean and healing very well within the time specified. Cali is now feeling no pain and is nearing complete recovery in a few days. Thank you. The staff have changed (naturally) over the 25 years + I've been taking my cats to Petcare, but we've always received excellent care and attention. The current team are fantastic - always friendly and efficient, with that extra personal touch. When we lost our cat prematurely before Christmas, the care and sympathy we received was deeply appreciated - and now they are looking after our new kitten - (who won't be paying them too many visits, I hope!!)

We have been coming to Village Vet for the past few years for my two cats and dog. They have offered nothing but the best service for my pets when I need their assistance. Recently my dog was ill, my girlfriend and I became concerned calling Village Vet to see if there was anyway he could be squeezed in on the weekend. We were lucky enough to be booked in on the same day to put our minds at ease. They just went above and beyond and for that we are truly grateful!

Our cat is registered at the village vet in brackenbury. We’ve always had quick and helpful service from the staff and vets. Whenever we have had and emergency situation they have very kindly offered to see us in 5 minutes notice. All the vets are knowledgable, kind and look after the animals well. They also offer medication right there so we don’t have to look elsewhere. They have an emergency hospital for any thing serious.

We've been going to Petcare for around 10 years, with 3 cats (in total). Though we've seen lots of different vets and staff, the care for the cats (and us when the inevitable putting down happens) has always been exceptional, sensitive - and helpful. Never had any problem getting an appointment, clean modern premises - and great news that they've now opened a boarding area. Very happy to recommend.

Very pleased with the whole experience. Arrived early for the appointment and seen straight away. The vet was very friendly, informative and caused the minimum amount of stress to my gorgeous cat. This was my first visit but I am definitely impressed and will make Petcare my regular clinic.

Vet Chris Knox was great. Very attentive & knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made me aware of the choices I had regarding my dog's treatment and the cost implications. Never felt like I was only being offered the most expensive option. Very happy with treatment.

Have just driven my cat all the way from Buckinghamshire to Brackenbury for his annual health check. The team at Brackenbury are so wonderful. Everything they do is to a high standard, all whist being super caring and compassionate. They always take time to do things thoroughly, and although I have moved out of London, the trip back to Brackenbury is worth it, because I know my little fur baby will be in the best hands!
