A lovely open park with lots of routes to take and just get lost in, you'll always find your way back to the exit. I especially love going through the woods and seeing all the dens that were built over time. Great for imaginary play! Also the beautiful parakeets that visited by the cafe was a lovely surprise for us.

This has been my favourite park since a young age and I will never get tired of long walks here. Each season brings its own beauty here but my absolute favourite is autumn!

Very dog friendly park and great walking paths, it can get muddy on days it’s rained but it’s worth it.

I can’t recommend this park enough, it is truly paradise for me.

Great park if you are looking for a longer quieter walk. Plenty of runners, dog walkers and horse riders, all seeming very considerate. Parking is also available if you have to drive to get there. Please keep in mind that the Cockfosters entrance will be a bit busier than other entrances to the park.

Lovely Park for Family Photography, it offers different backgrounds; the forest, the pond and the fields. There is free parking and a lovely cafe to warm up at the end of my sessions.

Great big park with lots of space. Easy parking, Go Ape, wildlife… the cafe from the animal rescue is better than the one by the car park even though they close a lot earlier

Wonderful place...very green and wide open. Conveniently located near Cockfosters Underground station, the huge country park is place with natural beauty. The long walking path with tall trees on both sides is an ideal place for joggers. You can take the car inside the forest for picnic. The kids get entertained too. A perfect family outing venue in all weather.

Excelent park with great views. There is plenty of distance to make by walking. You don't have to run or walk in circles like in other smaller parks.

Beautiful, well maintained park with so many quiet areas to sit and reflect on nature. Great for long walks in woodland, lake, ponds and meadow habitat and they have a tranquil water garden area. There are lots of information boards placed around the park which explains about the wildlife you will see.
There is a Go Ape activity centre and wildlife hub at the entrance off Cockfosters road.

I love this park especially when the daffodils are in bloom! Wear boots that keep out the wet mud but there are beautiful trails, perfect for dog walkers and picknicks.

Great park with lovely walking trails through the woods. There is a nice cafe that sells a good selection of teas and coffee and also a good selection of foods. We came a couple of years ago and did the GoApe adventure, that's worth a go. Anyhow highly recommended!

Make sure to enter at the right area of the park. There is a golf course, hacking trails for horses, and the main park. It is easy to get lost if new to the park.

Very tranquil in the woods but as always there are people too special to use the bins. Cars also drive at you on the way in and out but once you've bypassed these entitled beings the woods are lovely. There are toilets plus a disabled toilet and an eaterie.

This is without a doubt the best Country Park you will find in North London. The ideal place to go for a walk, relax in the sun, have a picnic and ride a bike. There are plenty of parking spaces, and a really nice cafe next to the car park. There is no better feeling than a walk around Trent Park, because you do get the feeling that you are in the countryside whilst admiring the stunning scenery.

I would strongly recommend anyone to bring a camera with, as there are plenty of opportunities to take decent Landscape and Nature stills. The best place to take photographs is around the open fields and of course The Japanese Garden!

If you are intending to travel to Trent Park via public transport then Cockfosters Station is approximately a 10-15 minutes walk from the main entrance.

Had a lovely walk with my wife. The paths are quite muddy at this time of the year, but it's still relaxing.

I love taking my dog here. There's all sorts of areas to explore from thick woods, open fields, meadows, small rivers, lakes, paved paths (if you don't want to get to muddy), an obelisk, a couple of coffee shops and even a Japanese water garden.

Shame there's building work going on off to one side, where some houses are being built.
