Mayow Veterinary Surgery

Biscuit saw the vet Angie and Kate the nurse for a post op check, they were fantastic with her! As was Toni in reception. Mayow vets always take great care of my cats, a huge thank you to the team! ❤

When we found a lump on the leg of our Cocker Spaniel dog Freya we looked and asked around and were recommended to use these vets. We spoke to Toni Willoughby, she was extremely reassuring and helpful in getting us an appointment at very short notice. After all the help Toni gave us I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Wish I had found this veterinary years ago.

We attended on a Sunday, unfortunately it was decided that in Ruby's best interests it was time to rest and sleep.

They made her so comfortable, we had a room to ourselves to say our final goodbye, we weren't rushed and everyone was so helpful.
If we decide to have another dog, they will definitely be come to Mayow veterinary.

After having a bad experience at another veterinary surgery, we found Mayow and managed to get a next day appointment through their online booking system for our cat Teddie. We had to make the devastating choice to put her to sleep.

Everyone involved was just so caring, didn't pressure us into a decision, and allowed us a lot of time with our little lady before she went. One of the receptionists even offered me a hug as I was leaving (since I was very upset).

We were given the option to have an ink paw print from our Teddie as a keepsake, and we recieved it in the post a few days later along with a handwritten card offering their condolences.

I highly reccomend Mayow Vets to all pet owners. The process of putting a pet to sleep can be traumatic and heartbreaking, but Mayow helped to make the process a lot easier and it feels like they genuinely cared.

Our little Teddy loves the vets because of the amazing staff! He gets tasty treats and so much attention. He had his jab and microchip today, and when the vet (Eliza, who was fab) brought him back to us he was wagging his tail! Clearly he got plenty of love from the vet and nurses. Really knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Highly recommend. Here's a pic of him with his fave receptionist, Kate :)
Edit: We went in today to ask about food and had a long and lovely chat with one of the nurses called Georgie - what an awesome human! Super helpful and informative. We are so impressed with Mayow Vets in Sydenham :)

I called up last week for some information about switching vets for my dog. I spoke to a lovely lady called Toni, she was so helpful and friendly. I felt nothing was too much trouble which is exactly what you want when looking for a practice to do the best for your fur-baby. Thank you so much to Toni. I’ll be registering soon.

I’ve used Mayow vets for years. I’ve always had a good experience and the vets are very caring even though they are busy. The receptionists work very hard and explain everything well.

The best experience at a Veterinary Surgery ever. People who actually listen to your concerns regarding your pet. Helpful, professional, kind and considerate. If you are not at Mayow Vets already, you need to be.

Best vets ever !!! The way they listen and are attentive , the level of service , the speed of testing and receiving results made me very very happy. My pet is treated like he matters and the care he receives is second to none. Been going here for many years and not once have I been unhappy. I found a dazed and confused cat on the road last night. I called up the Mayow vet on a Sunday morning to ask if I could bring him in and scan a potential microchip. They were the most helpful, friendly, and kind people that I could have hoped for to help me find this cats owners. I had an amazing experience with them and thank you for using your expertise to keep me calm. Your professionalism and humour has wrapped up an intense weekend for me! I wish you all the best.

Mayow vets are amazing!
Today, we took our 6-month-old kitten (Butler) to be neutered and microchiped and to have his claws trimmed.
The vet, vet nurse, and all the reception staff were all very polite, friendly, and professional.
The vet nurse (Holly) called to let us know that everything was OK and what time we could collect Butler.
She then talked us through how the surgery went and the aftercare step-by-step. She answered all our questions and was very reassuring.
We'll be registering our other three cats here as soon as possible.

Lovely warm reception from Kate when we arrived with our very excitable rescue. Theo has only been to the vets once but knew immediately it was somewhere full of animal loving staff, with treats.
We were seen quickly by Randa who was very relaxed and confident when checking over a very excited Theo.
As we left Theo was greeted by all the staff who were not worried with this large pup with a huge wagging tail throwing himself in their direction. A very positive experience for everyone! Thank you!

I was worried about Rosie and called Mayow. Toni answered and could tell that I was very anxious. I git an appointment in half an hour. I am very grateful that I was listened to by both Toni and the lovely vet. Thank you so much

Big shout out to Toni and Shannell for making me and my pal Gus feel so happy and relaxed when we were at the practice yesterday. Their warmth, care and humour was very welcome.

The staff were very friendly and very helpful and the service was amazing, the price i paid was excellent i would highly recommend this vet's to anyone

First time at the vet, and the experience was lovely Tony and Shanell were so friendly and bubbly can’t wait to go back !!
