Southgate Leisure Centre

Used the swimming pool for the first time and was very pleased. Staff were welcoming and assisted with my padlock issues. The selection of swimwear, googles and swim caps was very good for those who hadn't had time to buy these items elsewhere (me!). All facilities including showers, passageways and changing rooms were clean. The pool itself was divided into three ample width lanes which allowed good swimming, overtaking opportunities and none of the aggravation that sometimes accompanies a crowded pool. The water temperature was very pleasant, water cleanliness was good and overall it was very nice to spend an hour there.

The better does good so far. The new management refurbished entire centre also adding sanitary stations at gym area.

They deserve all five stars, even though the equipments isn't all five star. The staff do a great job to ensure visitors are happy.

Friendly and helpful staff and a 33 and a third metre pool which made for a great swim

A great swimming pool to have a good workout. Free parking as long as you use the machine after you finished. Make sure you put your licence plate in, otherwise you will be charged by the parking people

I am unsure as to why some individuals have given this place a low rating, claiming it to be unclean and not worth visiting. However, since enrolling just a few days ago, I have become captivated by the wide variety of activities available and the cleanliness and warmth of the pool. Therefore, I highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff, facilities a bit tired but it’s the community that matters and this is on point. It’s a great atmosphere in the centre.

I had. A great time using the sauna and steam room at the women only session. I will definitely be back and considering the membership.

Southgate It is a great centre, staff very friendly, beautiful swimming pool, I highly recommend Southgate Leisure Centre .

My favourite leisure centre I attended regularly. Perhaps I shouldn't recommended it more because the place is full of people already! This centre is well located with many facilities and classes to attend. They have well designed app to book sessions and browse available classes. They are part of bigger network. What is not here, you'll find it near by. Big car park around the building.

I hadn't been here for about 10 years and just rejoined last week. It's so different! Really modern, helpful staff, excellent facilities, the pool seems much brighter and everyone is very friendly. The direct debit price is a bargain and includes swimming, gym and classes. I'm so glad I came back!

Loving the refurb upstairs at the gym. New spanking sparkly machines. The advanced cross trainer with different settings is a nice addition. I normally never use cross trainers but this I liked. The different boxing drop bags are a nice touch . Wouldn't mind a speed ball tho. Have to give a big shout out to Pedro, personal trainer who helped an old man like me not to be overwhelmed with all the new and souped up machines. Give it a go with him and you'll not regret it.

Great place, good staff, and used by the people not empty like a morgue. Everything is working well up to any inspection. Classes are full and you have to be fast to book a place so I guess can't be that bad.

great to be back here after lockdown, now closed. limited classes at present so difficult to find a slot. good social distancing in the gym and plenty of cleaning products to use including hand sanatizer!

As a regular user of Southgate leisure centre l can fully recomend this venue .the reception staff are very helpful .and the pool is clean and a good size .able to accommodate the public even at busy times .they also have steam and sauna by the pool side which is reasonably price especially if like me you are an Enfield tenant and are in the over 50s club .

Quality equipment, friendly workers, and a nice atmosphere.
