Vets4Pets - Sydenham

The reception staff and the vets are amazing. Truly personal service from start to finish, with genuine compassion.
Even after all the staff changes, I am still delighted with the service here. Have heard some stories but not experienced them.

On Friday 3rd March '23 I took our cat 'Smudge' to a Weight Clinic appointment and saw Meg who was absolutely fantastic. The clinic cost £10 but it was so well worth it as Meg took the time to examine Smudge who is definitely over weight. She explained carefully to me how best to reduce and then manage Smudge's weight including how to properly calculate calorie intake and what to look for in a balanced diet specific to Smudge's requirements. Meg was also able to answer lots of questions I had and she took the time to go through all the ingredients of the cat food we give Smudge. I feel very confident now that we are on the right track for dealing with his weight problem and hopefully will only need to go back for one follow up review in 2 to 3 months time. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend if your cat (and I presume they offer the clinic for other pets too) needs help with their weight. A big thanks to Meg.

Update: 28 April '23 - Smudge has come down from 5.73kg to 5.30kg and is on track to hit his target weight of 5kg in the next 5 to 6 weeks.

Proactive reach out to recognise we have a senior dog & offered a senior pet check (didn’t realise this was a benefit of our health care plan) got an appointment & in depth questionnaire to fill before & nurse was brilliant. Results were quick. Overall amazing experience

First time for going with y new puppy. Microchipping and vaccinations. Good value and clean. Lift for disabled. Very open. Appointments needed. Only down fall, reception is to open and everyone can hear your conversation. Outside disabled parking available and located inside the pets at home store.

The receptionists are all very polite and very helpful and fitted my dog in on the same day as her problem. The vet was very explanatory with my dogs problem, to treat her and aftercare information. My dog is very nervous and the vet made her feel safe, was talking to her with care throughout the time she was with her. She made me feel very at ease which I was very grateful. I would not go nowhere else as I have always received at top service from Vets4Pets. Thank you :)

Been registered with this clinic for 3 years since we got our first cat. Always pleasant and knowledgeable. Great services and care taken of the animals. Felt comfortable to leave one of the cats there for her spaying and the vets and nurses are always helpful and answering any questions.

During the pandemic they have been taking great steps to keep everyone safe, waiting times have increased drastically but that's understandable.

Great staff who really love animals. They have extensive knowledge of the animals they see. Attentive and caring. They listen to your concerns and are very gentle. Have been going to them for 4+ years with our rabbit. She is never nervous or distressed when we go for her vaccinations and nail clippings. Highly recommend.

Everyone is always super friendly and accommodating. Our dog always gets seen in a decent amount of time and all the receptionists are attentive, respectful and knowledgeable. You can tell everyone really cares.

Love it here... Staff always helpful and great with advice. Animals always look healthy and cared for. Great deals and lots of parking which is handy. If there is ever anything you need staff can never help enough. Plus there is the vets and the from room complete with disabled lift access which makes the difference. The store is always really neat and tidy and if you can't find something just ask.... Staff go above and beyond

The Staff are not all very welcoming and caring. The head vet is rude wanted to over charge me for something my pet did not wrong with it. I’ve since left them and joined a neighbourhood vet which are 100 percent better. And did I say cheaper and more welcoming and accurately diagnose my pets health.

Yes, it can be a little hectic and appointments are often running late, but it's 100% WORTH IT to leave your pet with such a caring and knowledgeable team. They take as much time as needed with everyone to make sure they understand how to best care for their pet, which I imagine is how they end up behind!

They are very honest too, my puppy recently had a neutering and hernia repair at the surgery and the final bill was lower than the estimation, as the hernia was a smaller fix than usual.

Emailed requesting an appointment and once I called in the morning I have gotten one same day. It’s great that my dog can be seen with her mastitis so she is on medication as soon as possible to give her some relief. Staff always are professional and helpful.

I have always received great service from this store. It is very well run. The

My cat had been missing for 3 weeks. My normal vet couldnt fit me in. The vet was bery supportive of her needs and gave me the best advise to help het her weight back on. Best of all i had my baby back and the vet gave me peace of mind that she was ok.

Great service from all the staff. Helped me with my pet insurance...and of course looked after my dog scruffy great...been with this vet for over 8 years wouldn't go anywhere else.

We took our cat there today for the first time, we were really early but the vet saw us straight away. Rafael was really good and took the time to explain Woody condition and showed an interest unlike the vets we went to before and Faye on reception was so lovely and helpful.
Definitely glad we visited and would recommend to everyone we know
