Riverside Medical Centre

I just visited this center. The receptionists were extremely empathetic, nice and helpful. They agreed to register me and even did kindly their research online to help me find another NHS which is closer to my house and less busy (which they absolutely did not have to do). They wrote out the best NHS practices for me that is closer to where I live. Since I am new to the UK, I didn't how the NHS works and Alan answered all my questions so patiently. Super helpful, I do not know why the reviews are so negative.

I’ve never had any issues booking appointments. I have always called at 8am - as advised - to book a same day appointment, and that has always worked out for me. Yes there aren’t many people on reception, but whoever is, is always polite and helpful. I’ve had various appointments and tests here, and have always felt listened to and had things escalated when I’ve pushed for that. Every nurse and doctor there has been professional with me. I’m sure their booking system could be better, but that doesn’t detract from the service once you’re in - in my experience and opinion.

I also like this practice. I've been registered with them since 2013 and the doctors have always tried to cover all bases with regards to tests etc.. Compared to friends, this can be unusual these days.
The econsult thing can be annoying, but at the same time, it does always get me somewhere in the long run. I prefer it to trying to book an appointment and never getting through.

Receptionists... I work in a customer facing role, so I can forgive alot here. It's not the easiest of jobs. People can be difficult to deal with. Plus post covid I imagine it's a little fraught.

I have always found this practice to be very polite andn accomodating. Today they sorted out an admin issue on my NHS account in like 5 minutes. To my great relief.

This is a very caring and helpful lace to be treated and I really think they're 5⭐.

An excellent practice. Very short waiting times, attentive receptionists who will do all they can to book you in asap with a doctor. The doctors I have seen have all been extremely professional and thorough.

I've been going to this clinic for 2 years now and I am very happy with their service. The appointments are usually on time and their e-consult is super efficient. The only thing that could improve is the telephone communication, as its hard to get someone on the line.

I have recently joined this practise on entering i was greeted by a smiling receptionist which put me at ease as nobody really enjoys going to the doctors. The doctor now known to me as Dr.Tony Banejee was welcoming,caring and above all he was patient and respectful and did not treat me as if I was just a number.I highly recommend this practice.

I've always been very happy with this surgery. One of their dr's exercised caution and sent me to be checked over in hospital, over a very minor symptom when I was pregnant, and saved me from developing serious complications through undiagnosed Pre eclampsia (I had no recognised symptoms of this). My baby was delivered in an emergency just hours later.

I’ve been using this practice for 8 years, and never had anything but good service- they are a little slow on calling you back with results, but I that down to overstretched NHS services across the board…

Carmen was extremely helpful today. She calmed me down , sorted out my needs and went that extra mile. It really has made me feel cared about and heard. Truly kind human being (which seems to be lacking from many these days).

My local GP surgery. Really impressed with the range of modern i.e. digital services they provide e.g. online appointment booking, online common symptoms guide and digital signs to indicate who is next and what room to go to. Only downsides are the MASSIVE amounts of paperwork and questionnaires you need to fill in to sign up. Staff at front desk always busy but helpful

Carmen was really helpful just now after me super worrying and trying to get an appointment and various blood tests. She really understood and was super helpful and caring, which I haven’t yet come across in dr receptions. Thank you :)

I’m very blessed to have such a caring doctor like Dr Sally Godward, all doctors deserve praise with in their own right but for me Dr Sally goes above and beyond to take care her patients and you can tell she genuinely cares about their health and well-being.

The best surgery I have ever used and I have been with them a few years now. Staff are beyond professional and you can see they care. Awesome people, thank you.
