The Winchmore Pub

We’ve been looking for a place in Enfield/Winchmore Hill where we can eat a properly home cooked Sunday roast. Finally we have found it! The Winchmore serves delicious Sunday Roast. I had the roast lamb. Others had roast chicken and roast beef. All equally delicious.

Well this is one definitely to come back too. Had the Sunday roast Lamb leg with all the trims for an absolute bargain. It was delicious. The best by far this year. For me a well deserved 10. My dog was welcomed and the atmosphere is excellent. Sorry only an empty plate to show

Such a wonderful, friendly locals pub where the staff go out of their way to make your visit a pleasurable one. The food is amazing at a great price with offers throughout the week.
Very proud to have this special place as our local. Cheers guys and good luck with the new garden extension! Paul & Pat

I was driving and looking for a place to eat when I drove past the pub and decided to try it out. I found a parking space on a street nearby and parked my car there.
I had just finished a dental appointment and was very hungry 😋
I walked to the pub and was greeted by a friendly waitress who led me to a sit and gave me the menu options. She ran through the specials and asked me what I would like to eat.
I placed my order and then she asked if I wanted a drink. I asked for a cup of cappuccino which was brought promptly.
I had ribs and sweet potatoes with coleslaw which was so lovely and tasted so good.
The coffee was lovely too and the almond biscuits were lovely too! I asked for another one and the waitress gave it to me for free!
My experience was so nice and I will be returning with friends and family.
The ambience was cool and relaxing 😌
A dog was sitting around me but I wasn't sure if I could pat or stroke it so I let it be. It looked friendly.
My impromptu visit was worth it. The meal wasn't expensive and I was very happy with the service ☺

The roast was absolutely delicious and we got pigs in blankets. I didnt have dessert but my friend had apple pie and loved it. The staff were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back again.

Excellent lunch, we both had the Thursday rib special at £10. The service was superb matching the quality of the food. Great background music, not intrusive but adding to the pleasurable experience. Highly recommended.

We was in the area to watch the masters and needed some lunch before the evening match. We originally booked elsewhere however they had to close due to an emergency. We went for a drive and came across the Winchmore just hoping to grab anything available. Straight away we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. We obviously hadn't hooked but a table was found for us in an already busy restaurant. Once seated we were served promptly and both had a roast. 1 lamb 1 sirloin. Wow it was the best roast we had ever eaten we was completely blown away it was perfect. Will most definitely return! Thank you to all the staff and chefs

We had our daughter's 7th birthday party upstairs last Saturday - the staff could not have been more accommodating or helpful and made the whole thing as stress free as possible. The fact they were hosting eight parties on the same day tells it's own story - a terrific, well run pub and thoroughly recommended if you're looking for somewhere to host your special occasion.

Oh - and the kid's pizzas were great too. I know because I ended up eating a few slices! Proper pizzas from a proper pizza oven.

Great family friendly pub. The menu caters for plant based as well as meat eaters. All meals were delicious and were generous portions. Staff were friendly offering table and bar service.

We booked the private function room on the top floor and also a room downstairs for a board meeting. Brian and Carla are both really helpful, they went the extra mile for us we were so grateful for their help organising and running the special event on the night. Really enjoyed the food, the rooms worked out brilliantly, lots of comments from people about what a great space it is ... and Carla and Kai and team were so helpful in the set up and in welcoming guests and keeping them topped up with food and drinks. Brilliant job.

Really nice for the private party I attended in the conservatory .it was a cold day so a bit chilly to start..soon warmed up with really cute tasty food.tiny cheese burgers. mini kebabs .small gourgon and chips .

Went for a Sunday Roast. They have a great meal for 4 which had generous servings of potatoes, carrots parsnips and greens alongside some well cooked beef and giant Yorkshire puddings. Very reasonable and lovely atmosphere.

The place to go for dinner on a Saturday night. The food is outstanding, I strongly reccomend ordering the Beef Burger (served with chips and coleslaw). For dessert I had the "English Toffee Pudding" with Vanilla Ice Cream, absolutely delicious!

Very friendly staff and the service was excellent. Definitely reccomend anyone to dine or drink here!

Nice local Pub great Garden with an egg chair. Helpful friendly staff. Good atmosphere and can't wait to pop in again. Good location near me in Edmonton North London. No food just drinks being sold! Where is the Chef? We need food please.

Fantastic Pie of the Day / Pie Tuesday’s £10 amazing value. Excellent pint of Guinness, best in area. Lovely staff and friendly owner. Highly recommend

Pie was delicious....ribs we're better Thursday night £10.00 bargain 👌

We had lamb pie and steak and guiness pie. Both came steaming hot with mashed potatoes and gravy with kale and broccoli on the side.. The meat was very tender. Delicious.
Add Guinness and football and we had a perfect night.

Excellent Sunday roast lunch and service, highly recommended!

Went to my best friend's engagement party- The hall was upstairs and was very nice. Didn't smell of alcohol as I expected which was very good and the bartender was very good with our drinks. Good size hall could easily fit 100 people and a cosy layout!
