The private GP service provided by Royal Free is one of the best. The timing 4-7pm Mon-Sun seems carefully designed and shows thoughtful consideration. The charge (£99) is reasonable. The staff (doctor, nurse and receptionist) are all very knowledgable, and are willing to help with a friendly attitude. The service overall provides a good alternative to people who cannot secure an NHS GP appointment in 4 weeks (which is our case) and who could not get 111 to call back within 12 hours (again, our case) and who are willing to pay for a premium to see a specialist for non-life-threatening medical attention (fortunately, our case). We can highly recommend this!

I had an exceptional experience with Sadette and Elma today during my blood test and ECG. Despite my fear of needles, they displayed incredible professionalism and warmth, making the entire process much more comfortable for me.
Their efficiency was truly commendable, considering I was in a rush to get back to the office. They managed to provide excellent care while ensuring I could return to my responsibilities promptly.
I would also like to mention a very friendly nurse who assisted me during the pre-op assessment at 9 am on 20/11/2023. I don't remember her name, sorry! She was a beautiful black lady wearing glasses. She was very professional and also lifted my mood by making me laugh. Thank you all so much!

Great customer service at The Royal Free today. Yvette gave up her lunch hour to put my personal details on the system and organise bloods ECG etc to save me having to commute several hours back in at a later date. She did it with humour, grace and a really warm manner. It was a joy to deal with her.
Martha was the phlebotomist and it’s not easy to take blood from me, my veins just collapse when a needle is inserted. I must have had bloods taken 100 times and only on a couple of occasions has it gone smoothly, one of which was today, she must be a real expert. I usually end up like a pin cushion, I’m not a wuss but when it keeps on happening it’s wearing, not today, like Yvette she did it with an encouraging manner, grace and humour. A lovely couple of nurses. The Royal Free is lucky to have them.

My husband Richard received exceptional care from everyone who looked after him on the 12th floor of the Royal Free Hospital. He spent several months in the hospital with various admissions, during which time he experienced all the wards: S, N and W.

All the medical staff, from health care assistants and nurses to registrars and consultants, treated him with care and respect. They never treated him as a number or another chore but as a loved and valued individual. This applies particularly to the following people, with apologies to anyone I've missed:

Dr Alice Gage
John Soriano
Ronald
Deepa
Miriam
Dr Fatima Zufaqir

I can't recommend the Royal Free highly enough for the level of care my husband received and would like to thank everyone who looked after him.

The staff on the ward were amazing, friendly and caring.
The accommodation was poor for the price being paid. Tv too small needs to be redecorated .
Needs to like a hotel, could do with pictures on the wall, books .
I was in the hospital for 31 days, food was not good.
I lived on yogurts ,cheese and biscuits during my stay.

I had a pre operation assessment with the delightful nurse Yvette Lambert Morgan on Friday 13 October on the 12 floor. My name is Judith breger but I’m using my partners Google app. I just wanted to let you know how kind Yvette was. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was patient and understanding and I left feeling much more relaxed than when I arrived. Thank you Yvette.

I was in the Royal Free Hospital private patients on the 12th floor for a pre-operation assessment on Friday 22nd September and was seen by a very kind nurse called Yvette Lambert-Morgan.
She was very attentive, and gentle when she took the blood sample.
All of the staff were extremely friendly.

Extremely happy with my experience. The Royal Free itself is an example of a friendly welcoming hospital, not just the private part but also the public part of the hospital. From the moment I stepped in the door I was guided by a lovely nurse when I looked lost. The experience with the friendly consultant, technicians and nurses will always be remembered. Thank you for making it so much more less stressful and well done in achieving something special for patients in these hard times.

My surgeon Mr Patki is amazing.
I am going home tomorrow minus a kidney removed by robotic surgery. A traumatic time made less stressful due to the.quality of care provided by the Royal Free.
Thank you
