Sofology Croydon

Very nice selection of sofas for all range of prices and good customer service !

As misleading as the name of the shop is, there’s no science to it; they sell sofas; and you go there to see sofas. You want one; they have them and they’re certainly one of the shops to go for. There are other shops that sell sofas too, and if you want a sofa you should probably shop at them too. Or don’t. The choice is yours.

If you want a kitchen don’t come here! If you want a wedding dress - don’t come here! They don’t do lap-dancing, or booze cruises just out and out sofas - so make sure you want one of those first.

But as far as shops that sell sofas go; this is definitely one of them, and you’re not gonna be disappointed!

This is my 3rd Sofa from Sofology and 1st Choice always. I spotted Steve, as soon as I walked in the door. The warm welcoming face was enough. I definitely made a great choice. He helped me quickly, efficiently, sympathetically and very professionally through to sale. I ended up buying the additional features once Steve had shown me how wonderful they were. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes which was perfect and I cannot wait for my new Broderick sofa suite. 10 weeks and counting - Thanks Steve, good Man, Great Shop! 10/10

Had the joy of being served by Wioleta today. So lovely (and rare) to find a sales assistant who understands customers and how to treat them. The sofas are great, but this lady was better! Huge thanks!

Sofology in Croydon was great experience.
You can take your time to browse and discuss with your friends and family about the sofas and the staff there are patient and helpful.
It is good that they do not pressurize you to buy but let you decide what is the best.

Friendly service and willing to answer any questions regardless of how benign they maybe. Most of the products seen online were present at the Croydon store. Glad to be a customer at Sofology.

Great variety of sofas and superb service!

We have visited sofology Croydon on numerous occasions trying to find a sofa. Louis happened to be there every time we visited. Louis would always leave us to think about things and told us to come and find him when we was ready, this completely differed from other stores where they just follow you around trying to show you things you don’t want. We just loved the vibe of the store and couldn’t fault Louis at all, he is possibly the most helpful and genuine person we have ever come across working in a sales environment. He was genuinely interested in what we wanted and was looking for. His honesty and positivity made us confident in our final choice. His manager was also really lovely too, they just seemed like a genuine group of people. We would highly recommend this store to our friends and family based on the experience Louis provided. In fact, on one visit my mum came along and she wasn’t looking for a sofa, but she saw one she quite liked and she will be measuring up to come back and have another look.

We dealt with Gordon who was absolutely wonderful. He spent so much time with us and explained everything so thoroughly. He was highly knowledgable. Some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. I can’t comment on the sofa itself as unfortunately we paid for it but when we re did our measurements it turned out it wasn’t going to fit in our new home so we had to cancel.

I visited the store today and was attended to by Jimmy, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He spent a good amount of time showing us different options and really listened to our requirements. At no point was he pushy or pressuring, he was very attentive, has wonderful product knowledge and a great sense of humour too. It’s very rare for me to leave a review but working in sales myself, I felt that he provided such a positive experience that it should be commended. Would 100% recommend.

Now just looking forward to receiving the new sofa.

Great selection of stylish furniture. All at 0%. We liked the no pressure sales with the staff just there to help rather than hard sell. We ordered our sofa in the comfort of our own home after our visit. Now we jus5 have to wait for the furniture to arrive

Didn’t love all of the sofas here, a lot of the ones downstairs are very flashy and not to my taste. A lot of staff milling around, can feel a bit intimidating when you first arrive and are looking around.
One however introduced himself by name and then left us to look around, no pressure. Upstairs we found a suite that suited our needs , if felt very well made and was very reasonably priced and so we sought out the sales associate from before to process our sale.
The whole process took quite a long time but we were offered hot drinks in that time and had very pleasant conversation while we waited. Before coming here, I wouldn’t have ever considered sofology and while my sofa has yet to arrive (4-6 week wait) based on my in-store experience I would highly recommend them.

Great selection of sofas. Kareem was extremely helpful, kind and patiently answered all our questions. With Kareem’s help we found the perfect sofa that me and my husband had been looking for a while.

The experience was first class. We made several visits to the Croydon branch and no one hassled, left to our own devices until we were ready make some enquiries of our chosen sofa. We dealt with a guy called Jamie Edwards and we cannot recommend him enough, he had a vast knowledge of the leathers and fabrics and gave us genuine feel about the whole purchase. Honest from the first time we spoke to him we made a decision to make transaction on our third visit to the store mainly because of level of service we thought we would be getting compared to rival sofa showrooms. We love the fact that sofaworks do not have sales, a very honest way of selling and the extras were easily explained to us from the start. Would recommend to friends and family.

Shopping for a new settee, this is the place, lovely range to choose from.
Our salesman was Jimmy. A real nice guy, knows his stuff and helped us all the way, without any pressure.

Staff were amazing, they were there when we had questions but also didn’t loiter around watching our every move. I requested fabric samples for a sofa I liked and they were happy to provide.
