I have been with the practice for about 4 years and overall experience has been nothing less than 100%.
Caring Receptionists with excellent communication skills.
Committed, competent compassionate and courageous Doctors especially Dr.s Nina Arjuna and Shazia Khan.

I will say the doctors are great. I missed Dr Kumar and Arjun. Is so difficult to get appointment with Dr khan. Anyway I have recently been seen by some new ones and they are not bad.

I feel listen to. Good job.

Dr's Charlton & Arjun both retired are a par above the rest doctors in every aspect, treats their patients with respect, listens and take necessary action without any delay.....But Dr. Nwufoh, well just read the rest of the comments. There's a new Dr. there now, Dr. Khan, i'm loving her already, she seems calm and listens....I agree to some extent about the staffs at the reception, they can be sometimes abrupt and come across as rude.

Personally i havent experienced any problems here. The staff are fine, although i have needed to attract the attention of the reception staff until served, but no rudeness experienced.

The reception area is a bit tight when they are busy, but this is the only complaint i have to date. The surgery is very clean

I have recently had to take my daughter to see dr Basoah. Dr Basoah was fantastic with my daughter really put her at ease very proffesional. I would also like to say i have always found the receptionists very helpful and polite. Sometimes wait for phone to be answered but they are a very busy practice thank you to all the staff at the practice

I've been with the practice for over 9 years and used to recommend it highly for Dr Nina Arjun (retired last year), Dr Paul Charlton (retired)& Dr Kumar. They were excellent for myself and my young son and they score the 2 stars although no longer working there. Unfortunately it has gone downhill especially since Dr Arjun left. Dr "Joy" is a regular disappointment but I will see her for my children as any doctor is better than no doctor. Optimistic that the new and committed Dr Ama Basoah will be a permanent, albeit part time, addition. Dr Hassan seems to carry the entire practice on her shoulders and appears to care. The receptionist I initially couldn't stomach was Ingrid but she has since emerged as the only efficient, caring staff member, however detached emotionally I would imagine to get through the day. Whatever resources have been cut is causing the practice severe operating issues. Their smoke alarm has been whistling for a month and it amazes me that nobody is able to stand on a chair before opening the doors just to change the battery.
There have been serious issues in obtaining my regular medication following childbirth, my newborn & I have still not been sent 6-8 week post-partum and 8 week immunisations appointment. I feel this is putting my baby's health at risk. Unfortunately none of the other surgeries are rated any better. So I stay in hope it will improve.

Been at this GP for about 18yrs purely cos i don't like change. Service has sunken. Hard to get an appt. No good Dr apart from 1 or 2.

Dr Joy Nwufoh is in the wrong profession. She nearly caused my relative to have a serious infection; upon seeing a 2nd degree burn from boiling water, she just suggested some burn pads but then we weren't happy with that advice so we booked to see another Dr who has since left. He was appalled that she wouldn't prescribed more than pads. He went above and beyond. Amazing guy. Loved his job. It doesnt help that she's rude as well. I always make it known that I do not want to see her.

On the contrary, Dr Hassan is the only reason why im still there. Soon as she leaves, I'm gone too. Receptionists are a bit here n there. Still beats me why there's more receptionists than Drs ...?

This is difficult to write because I have championed this practice for the past six years while under the wonderful care of Dr. Nina Arjun, who has now retired. Since then, the revolving door of practitioners, the long waits, the confusion and mix-ups over appointments, and the general quality of care at Whitehorse has gone down.

The last straw for me was a visit with Dr. Joy Nwufoh, who spoke to me as if I were a child; patronising, condescending, and unwilling to even listen. What's problematic here is that I am educated, well spoken, and polite. The reason *why* this is problematic is that, in this catchment area, the majority of patients are unlikely to approach the doctor with, at the very least, an education that matches theirs (even if it is not medical in background). This can lead to issues where a patient is forced to defer to the opinion of a doctor who doesn't listen to them and makes them feel silly for even asking questions and requesting clarification - on the grounds that she is smart, sophisticated, and educated...and they simply are not. If she can do it to me, she can do it to anybody.

I believe the supercilious attitude that Dr. Joy Nwufoh applies evenhandedly amongst patients who have no choice (in a crowded GP clinic) but to see her goes beyond a lack of bedside manner. It can be dangerous. With an unwillingness to listen and a penchant for insisting she is right, it is just a matter of time before an incorrect diagnosis, incorrect treatment, or clinical negligence arises that may result in patient injury.
