I went from Birmingham without booking the appointment as I wasn’t aware of the new changes.
However I have managed to still book it online as I was there and had to speak to the Manager who was very understanding, I explained that I came from far , so he managed to let me be seen and served on the day !!
Some tips that could be very beneficial:
1:Make sure you book an appointment before going to the consulate.
2: Take cash with you as they are not taking card payments( there is a Tesco free machine on the same road).
3: Make sure you take pictures ID and recorded delivery envelope(s)if you have requested your passport/ID to be renewed, as this saves you from going to the consulate again to collect your new ones as they just send it to your home address( in case you have forgotten to take them, don’t worry there is a post office on the same road).
The stuff were very helpful and understanding, it took me exactly 1h to get both my passport and ID ( carte National) sorted.

Very good service, staff are friendly and very efficient. It was my first visit to the consulate so I did both registration and passport renewal less than 30 minutes.

Hi,if anyone want to travel Morocco for holidays and need visa so now new procedure is so simple n quick,u need to apply for a E-VISA,fill online form it’s takes only 10 minutes,upload passport,your photo and BRP OR BRC resident card validity up to 180 days and 770 dirhams 63 to 65 pounds visa fee,and next day u will receive ur visa by email..thanks

Yesterday, on August 31, 2023, I flew from Edinburgh with the aim of applying for consulate registration, passport renewal, and ID renewal. My appointment was scheduled for 12:00 PM, but I was called in at 11:30 AM. Everyone was exceptionally helpful and friendly, from start to finish. All the staff members were highly efficient at resolving people’s issues, and some even went above and beyond their usual duties to make our lives easier. I had forgotten an envelope, but they kindly offered to wait for me, which took me about 25 minutes to retrieve. I did make some mistakes during the process, but the staff was there to assist and correct them. They explained the timeline for receiving my ID, and the person who took my fingerprints was a true gentleman, as was the person in the white shirt. I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised that everything was sorted out in just half an hour, allowing me to return to Edinburgh on the same day. If there were a ten-star rating, I would have gladly given it. Thank you all for your exceptional assistance; you make us proud.

You need to make appointment before you come here now. It wasn't crowded this time. Also, the customer service we received was good and staff was friendly

I went to renew my ID card. Such lovely staff and friendly atmosphere in there! It makes you feel like you are in Morocco🩷 I just hope my ID card will arrive quick!

It was very warm welcome to the Embassy, and everything went very smoothly. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Thank you very much for sorting out my 3 different applications in one morning. Also, the staff advised us to use the mail to receive our documents when ready to collect instead of travelling again to Embassy.

Really co-operative and prompt. I was really pleasently surprised considering the previous reviews. They replied to our emails within thirty odd minutes and gave us clear instructions. The Vice Consul was very gracious and assisted us in a fashion that was beyond anything we ever expected

After seeing all the comments, I also assumed my experience would be difficult but it was not. It was very warm and welcoming experience for me. I did not call or email as I saw lots of bad review so turn up in person and it was not difficult at all.

I would understand the frustration when you do not find reception person not fluent in English but it does not hurt if we ourselves can make an effort (Just get google translate out on your phone and translate to Arabic and show to person).

Just a bit wait and person came to me who could speak English came and explained me the whole process. Just got tourism visa on a same day although it was not premium service which after instruction all online and done it with ease.

Just saying, it was very pleasant and not bad at all that all these reviews are reflecting.

The first trip was very chill, and I went to apply for my ID in july. It only took 3 weeks to be made. However, due to a bit of chaos in my life, l wasn't able to collect it till last week, and they still had it. It took less than 20 minutes to collect, and they were very understanding. The area was cool and very nice compared to the heat outside. The people were polite and helpful.

Really Welcoming and Quick Service
I attended the Moroccan Consulate in London from Sheffield to renew the Moroccan Passport for my Wife and within 35 minutes we were out of the Consulate. The Staff was very Supportive, Friendly and Helpful and it was quick and easy, the only thing bother me was that I have to travel 5 hours driving all the way from Sheffield with my Wife and 5 Months old daughter. I received the Passport back by post as requested exactly in 1 week and 4 days and I am fully happy and satisfied with the Service. I thank to the Moroccan Consulate for their help in this matter and providing the Best Service. I personally think that when we are there we should treat the Staff with Respect and patience and you get the same back, the reason why I mentioned because I heard and see some people talking to the respected Staff very rudely and not giving them any respect and that is not fair with them. The Staff work their are Humans like us and we should appreciate their hard work and efforts and sometime listen to them other than argue with them. I hope in future they can start the online Services for the people who are living far away from London like me. Kind Regards

You receive a callback whiten 24h to check your documents, then you can book an appointment straightaway.

At the consulate I was done within 35min.

I am very impressed about the service I received. I did all the procedure online which was straight forward and took few minutes, I got an appointment and came prepared. I received stellar service from the consulate. I was initially scared of the reviews online but the consulate proved this rating WRONG. If you have issues getting an e visa please take a trip to the consulate. They’ll have to request authorisation to issue you a visa which takes a week or more, but you’ll be carried along every step of the way. I want to say a big thank you NC, the staff that managed my case! Thank you Consulat Général du Royaume du Maroc!

The service was very good, the people working there were welcoming and very helpful. I had an appointment and went a bit early still got there and got all my things done.
