The best roast in town.

Lovely as always. Highly recommend getting the sharing roast and a side of cauliflower cheese.

Service was great. Shout out to the lovely Scottish lady who was attentive, warm, friendly and anticipated your every need.

Hands down the BEST Sunday Roast in Croydon. Delicious! Puts others to shame. Friendly & welcoming staff who are always on the ball. Big cocktail selection with some unusual & unique offerings. Blue Moon on tap, lovely! Highly recommend. 10/10 every time.

Ordered the all meat roast. Came out looking really impressive and tasted great. All the meats cooked well including the chicken which was very moist. Would recommend.

Went to the Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday afternoon, we were greeted straight away with a friendly and warm manner.
The waiter was a lovely guy with long locks, he explained the process and took our order, he even upselled ..lol (industry joke)
the food was nice , i had the cornflake chicken and waffle and my friends had steak and eggs which they enjoyed.
the cocktails were lovely the music was reminiscent, bathrooms were clean and fresh.
all in all we had a great experience.. Thankyou Mr Fox

A French beer and a Mexican tequila? Must be from our new favourite bartender Rene! The only Mexican with a French name 😅 what a legend. Honestly though lovely bar to hang out in on a Saturday in Croydon.

Friday night bottomless margaritas! Really good service that night, drinks kept flowing with decent amount of tequila in each of the different margaritas. Need to reserve a spot for the bottomless hr of drinking…set menu with really nice variety! Nice place to start the night.

Had an amazing afternoon in Mr Fox yesterday. They were understaffed, due to sickness, but it didn't make a bit of difference! The lads worked their absolute socks off!!!
Cocktails were great and the Veggie Weelington & Roast Beef were immense. VERY happy bunnies we were, will definitely be back.

Went here for Sunday lunch with friends. Fantastic place. The food was great (good portion size) and although the staff were clearly busy, running to and fro, they were very friendly and made the effort to have a laugh with us. Real personalities! They were always communicating with us when the food was slightly delayed.

If I was being picky, the music was a bit loud. Not to the point of needing to shout, but Sunday afternoons are meant to be relaxed and slower paced

Visited a couple of times since restrictions were lifted. Very professional service with staff attending tables to take orders regularly.
Definitely London pricing, cocktails will set you back £9.50+ a pop but they are delicious and pack a punch.
And the food!!!...I had the hake, partner had the bone marrow burger - I have not had food that good since the Michelin starred Albert's Table closed down. Outstanding!
You do need to book in advance and you only get 2 hrs per booking per day. Not all tables have heaters but vast majority do and 90% of tables are covered. On our 2nd visit the heater above our table wasn't working which was a shame because we would have stayed longer if it had been.
A must visit for cocktail lovers and foodies alike.

Unexpected walk-ins on a Sunday lunchtime and they managed to squeeze us in.
Our first time here and really wasn't disappointed, great friendly service with a smile, gorgeous food and great background music, what more can you ask for on a Sunday.
We shared a scallop starter, it was perfectly cooked, my wife had a vegan Wellington (she doesn't eat red meat but isn't a vegan), she absolutely loved it, I had the crispy topped pork belly, - wow! Crunchy potatoes, roasted carrots and lots of green veg, lovely.
We would thoroughly recommend.

Whether you're here for Sunday roast, an evening meal or just some drinks, Mr Fox always delivers! If you haven't been yet this place should be on your go to in Croydon - food is absolutely stunning, drinks are delish and the service is always on point! The best pub/bar in Croydon by a mile. Let me start with COVID 19 procedures, hand sanitiser station placed and scanning of NHS track/trace. Good social distancing practices with in.

Went for the Sunday roast and this was just exceptional. Roast Chicken was juicy and moist, the pork belly was just heavenly and the roast beef (bit red for my liking but that personal preference) still yummy. The trimmings where cooked to perfection (roast potatoes, maple glaze carrots and yorki pudding). Also ordered a few small plates that were so tasty.

Cocktails and drinks are awesome so don’t forget to try. Of your down in town go give them a visit. Staff are super friendly and very very attentive

My husband, dog fitzy and most recently our new baby are all regulars at Mr Fox. We love the food, the drink selection but mostly we live the staff! Eva leads an excellent example of friendly and professional service, and Tommy who has a soft spot for our dog is the sweetest looking after us each time we visit.
Its our go to for all birthdays and special occasions because the food is always consistently brilliant, fresh and impressive to non Croydon-ers!
Croydon-ers already know how great this place is - or they should!

This is the best pub in the area no questions. The food OMG! Sunday roast is always incredible and drinks are 10/10. Service is always wonderful too. Such a gem in Croydon.

Best Sunday roast ever! Hubby had pork I had beef, plenty of seasonal vegetables cooked to perfection, cute pot of delicious gravy on the side, we also opted for cauliflower cheese which was heavenly !! Brilliant atmosphere in there , service from staff was faultless, it was busy but we didn’t wait too long for food at all!! Gem of a place !!

Been a regular here for the past couple of years - a fantastic cosy spot, definitely my favorite in Croydon. The drinks menu is outstanding, truly world-class cocktails, coming from a frequent traveler and someone who loves speakeasy cocktails. Great spot for brunch or dinner and the atmosphere is great for couples. Eva is always our server, always lovely!

Love Mr Fox as somewhere to go for a really great Cocktail not your run of the mill commercial cocktails but well thought out and designed cocktails.
Also recommend their Sunday roast 😋 and the crumble desert is delicious.
All round a great place to get drinks & food and excellent service (we’ve been luckly to get Eva on many visits)

Great venue...came here for Sunday lunch with my wife + two young children. We were given the big round table by the window which we asked for so super happy with that.

The roasts were great too, super tasty across the board - lovely roast potatoes + gravy...

Excellent, friendly service too. It's places like Mr Fox in Croydon, Surrey Street in particular has a real buzz about it and this slots in very well!
