Morleys Brixton

This store is one of the oldest in the Brixton area, it does display its history inside the store from the 1800s to the present day. The products are of good quality and are affordable. The variety of clothing and accessories is many to choose from. The staff are very helpful and courteous making you feel welcomed. I highly recommend a stop in if you're ever in this area shopping.

I live on the other side of London , and it’s not particularly convenient for me come here
, but I prefer shopping here than going to John Lewis on Oxford St . Though much smaller in size it carries an impressive array of brands Chanel Beauty, Levi’s etc., and an excellent home ware department on the second floor . Particularly now during January sales it’s very competitive and far less hectic to shop here than in central London . It’s such a great local store that has been around for nearly 150 years , it’s also nice to shop at an independent place rather than just another identikit store - I particularly like the nods towards David Bowie throughout the store , who’s childhood home is just a short distance away .

Very varied and relevant products especially in clothing department. Super helpful staff. I don't live locally but am happy to travel to Brixton to take advantage of one of the last remaining dept stores. Highly recommend

Amazing experience with the lady (Enya) from the Estée Lauder counter, very helpful and was able to give me information on the products I was looking at.

Love this department store! Even better since the refurb! Love the women’s floor with the Allsaints department. And the beauty department on ground floor is full of choice!
My kids love the toy shop in the basement too!!

Such a great place to shop. It's like having our own West End/Oxford Street store in Brixton. No need to go into town.

A great shop, very clean and tidy and lots of very nice items. Also a peaceful good size Nero's on the first floor! Take the stairs, the elevator is a bit slow ☺

This is the friendliest, least intimidating department store I have ever visited. The staff are lovely, particularly those manning the various beauty outlets on the ground floor and the service is second to none. I think it is one of the best things about Brixton and there is a lot to choose from in this area!

A lovely old fashioned but modern revitalised department store. When we visited it was alive with shoppers anfmd had a vibrant atmosphere. We had a coffee at the cafe on the top floor which again had a good atmosphere. I would recommend a visit to this store.

I love their lamb ribs, which is very well cooked and flavourful with bbq. The chicken are very crisp.
The customer service is also great, especially, Swetha

Morley’s in Brixton are Dog Friendly - brilliant. They have a Dog/Pet section in the basement but only selected items and for larger dogs. This store is lovely to browse around. Thank you Morley’s for allowing dogs.

Great department store with a wonderful history, knowledgeable staff and a perfect atmosphere for shopping / retail therapy. Directly across from Brixton station.

A hidden gem in south London especially the basement the kitchen department have good quality branded electronic items not as expensive as John Lewis. For years I have
been looking for a mini rice cooker for 2 portion of rice im pleased to say I got it finally. Staffs are not the friendliest, they do not go the extras miles,if you can past over that you can get some little treats

Nice department store. Was like a gem placed in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Brixton. Good variety of beauty, clothing and houseware items. Customer service top quality, thank you to Natasha who was super professional and friendly.

The best shop! Have luxury cosmetics and parfumes. Have all for home ( bedlinen, towels, decoration, aromatic candles, pafrumes for home, kitchen technologies, vacumcleaners.... all...all)
And afcourse one big shop need to have public toilet. That the customers will use it and they will make shopping.

Lovely little department store. Quality goods, beautifully styled and presented...like the Brixton history on the stairs. Smells gorgeous when you walk in. Can be pricey but mostly high end/designer in there 😊

This was a "Wow" experience for me! The whole store has been refurbished beautifully. I walked through all floors and was not disappointed. The shopping experience was 100 times better than previously. Well worth a visit!

I think this department store is absolutely the BEST. The customer service is great and always with a smile. Old school shopping at its finest - like back in the day. It's gorgeous inside with pictures of Morleys past on the walls. The Nero cafe on the first floor is a nice place to stop off before or after you start shopping. Check out Forever New it has a wonderful ladies range and Ingrid the Manager is always so helpful and cheerful! The whole Morleys shopping experience was such a treat! Thank you!
