The Arena Club & Sports Bar

Came here this evening for my wife’s work do.
The starters were superb the portions were really generous the variety here is really good with great vegetarian options in abundance.
The various breads that came with the mains were also amazing everything was so fresh and tasty the main dishes were also great portion sizes , it all came at the same time not in shifts which I really hate especially when there’s lots of guests.
The service from everyone was attentive and the beers were lovely and cold and reasonably priced unlike most overpriced pubs these days.
Arena is definitely a restaurant I will come back to with friends and family.
Seriously good Indian food

This is arguably my favourite local Indian and probably the best in Hendon. We have dined here, ordered takeaway and used for catering service.

Location of the restaurant is literally next to the tube station.

The portion size for starters and curry is extremely generous unlike other places.

Pricing of the food is arguably better than most Indian restaurant around the area. So all round 5*.

Fantastic food, service and environment. Very safe and family friendly but also very good for watching sports games. They have their own league quality pool table and they have won many trophies too. Big Liverpool fan but all fans come to watch in a safe but electric atmosphere.

Thank you very much we were 30 of us and we were looked after so well. Everyone commented on the tasty food veg and non-veg as well as drinks, music and watching live games. Chef specials were very good.

Went for dinner here for the second time over the weekend. Incredibly good starters, better than most I've had. Main curries were good too but could have done with a bit more salt. Did take a little while to get the food but worth the wait. Overall a very good experience

The menu gives a decent variety and about half which is vegetarian and half that is vegan, so plenty of choices. Staff (Prianca) have always been helpful when making selections. The drinks on tap are a decent selection. I've had both Guinness and Neck Oil. Both tasted good.
Several screens for sports, a decent music system playing appropriate music and a pool table.
I a manage a starter, main course, and a drink for less than £30.

An absolutely amazing restaurant/pub. Run by some of the friendliest people in the area, Arena offers a wide repertoire of delicious Indian dishes, all at very affordable prices. I highly recommend a visit.

Hidden gem, fantastic food, great value, amazing service, great atmosphere, with sport yes but not overpowering, great place to have fun, hard to criticise, other than there’s no helipad!

Have visited here several times. Would advise to book in advance just to ensure you can get a table, especially if the football is on.
The menu has a variety of vegetarian options. Food is fresh and tasty.
Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Great little place that is easy to miss. Right next to Hendon Station exit, its just a doorway at street level.
Saw the reviews so we looked for it as had already walked past it earlier without noticing.
So glad we did. The bar staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming.
It's a relaxed atmosphere and not pretentious at all. Plenty of screens showing sports and music videos and is actually quite a decent size with lots of tables.
It is both a bar and an Indian restaurant and the food is very good, our meals were right up there with some of our favourites. Will definitely visit again when next in the area.

Best curry I've had in London for years. 4 of us went here on Saturday evening to eat. Hidden below Hendon Central Station, the food is unreal, seriously, the food is so good. We had chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, and their mushroom rice is just amazing. The venue is a sports bar, but don't let that put you off, we went with my 8 year old niece, on a Saturday night between 8-9pm, the bar wasn't very busy, and we sat at the back of the restaurant part. It's not noisy or loud, so I think the atmosphere is fine, even for people with children. Definitely recommend this place for good Indian food at good prices.

Outstanding place, been going here for years. Never lets me down and high standard of Indian food and I've been to many place. When I have good food at other places, I compare it to Arena as the bench mark.

Very surprised with this place, walk by it nearly everyday but was never enticed to go in......delighted I did this evening tho - top food, great service and very well priced. A proper hidden gem.

Had the best Indian meal with the family here..Very impressed with the quality of Chicken, starters , rice and curry sauces. All fantastic..Thanks for looking after us, we would definitely return next time we are in London. Highly recommend👍🌶

The Indian food here is truly fabulous. Great service from all staff, nice place with pool table. They will make a vindaloo on request and it is absolutely incredible, very spicy but such good quality. Naans on the small side. I’ve eaten in and had numerous takeaways - the best quality and value Indian in the local area - and I’ve tried them all! 100% recommend, well deserved.
