Best Surgery going! I’ve had a few issues of late and I feel the doctors has become my second home. I would like to say a big thank you to Mandy, who has been really supportive, professional and just overall caring. Also, to all the other receptionists, nurses and doctors I have seen. Nothing ever seems to be an issue and I can’t thank them enough! Ryan

We have had nothing but positive experiences at Dr Curran. My children are always seen promptly and the doctors have been excellent with my health and my husbands over the years. Dr Chakkalakal has recently been so kind and caring which prompted me to write this post. Nurse Emma also amazing

Great practice which uses telephone consultations where possible which is most efficient for me. Like a number of other reviewers, I recently needed blood tests so I went in and they were done by nurse Mandy. Given I’m really (really) bad at having blood tests I have to say a huge thank you - she is really fantastic: kind and efficient, and went above and beyond in her care. It made a world of difference, and I didn’t feel faint at all.
Waiting room is clean and comfortable, and reception were also very kind to me, so overall a great experience.

Mandy is an amazing member of staff, I was waiting for a GP callback regarding my baby daughter today and Mandy went out of her way to make sure we were seen. I love this practice, the reception staff (young gentleman, Australian lady and Mandy) all profession and helpful! The clinical team are so efficient and we are always seen when we need medical attention. Thank you again for taking such good care of us :)

I'm so grateful to be registered to this doctors surgery, each and every doctor is kind, understanding and keen to provide tailored care. I'm particularly grateful for the work of Dr Charlotte Cheeld and Mandy, who somehow makes blood tests completely pain free. Thanks so much Dr Curran & Partners team.

I’ve been battling some difficult health struggles for the last 3 years, and cannot explain the difference it makes to be treated with the kindness and compassion of Mandy and Emma at Dr Curran and partners. I’ve seen them both a number of times and they’re always so genuine and understanding, and do everything they can to take the best care of you - which is something I’ve found to be very rare. Thank you both for giving me a glimmer of hope on this journey.

A big thank you to Mandy. Her professionalism and kindness set a standard that truly goes above and beyond. She listens and consistently provides an amazing level of care, demonstrating genuine concern for patients.

I am usually terrified of blood tests after some horrible experiences when I was younger, and because of this, have postponed being tested for far too long. Mandy is so lovely and made me feel comfortable straight away, the test was over in a flash and she even grabbed me a jam doughnut to help with slight dizziness afterwards. I won't hesitate to have another test again - thank you!!! :)

I have severe anxiety and have been so terrified of blood tests. Mandy has been so kind through the entire process, kept me nice and calm and was so gentle, I didn’t feel a thing. My old GP weren’t this way and I’m glad I’ve moved to Dr. Curran. I can’t thank her enough.

Mandy who took my blood is amazing, I tend to faint getting bloods but Mandy is so good at it, it’s done quick, and I only feel the prick of the needle - no moving around while it’s in there. She makes sure I’m safe to get up, slowly and step by step, so I don’t faint and gives me the time without rushing me to make sure I’m good to go. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Doctors are always super friendly, caring and attentive. Overall, great practice, great staff and I feel cared for. Thanks everyone.

Both nurses Claire and Mandy were extremely lovely to me whilst getting some blood work done. I’m very scared of needles and they both went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and have a laugh.

Mandy went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and calm when I got my bloods taken. I'm really needle phobic but she put me at ease and even made me laugh. Thank you so much Mandy.

Had a great experience with Mandy! I've had some issues getting my blood drawn over the years but Mandy got it on the first try and it was really painless.

Dr Curran and Partners has the most wonderful and efficient service for babies and toddlers. As a new mum we’ve had a bad run of constant nursery bugs (ear infections, croup, rashes, conjunctivitis etc) and I’ve been able to get my daughter seen every time and when needed, medication prescribed. Most recently Mandy went above and beyond to get the test results we were waiting for (for my 16 month old) which could have had an huge impact on our family holiday if we hadn’t received them. Thank you Mandy.

I have been with this practice for over 30 years and have always had excellent patient care. The doctors are lovely, friendly and helpful. I have also had a very good experience with the staff on reception who are always extremely busy and overloaded with calls and appointments. I have however on many occasions been appalled by the way some people talk to the staff.

Mandy is a lovely nurse who took my bloods, she was so calming and made me feel so comfortable. Thank you!

Dr Curran and partners has always been great to me! The front desk staff is extremely helpful and always does their best to answer my (many) questions. Claire is especially lovely and has spoken to me on the phone many times and always goes above and beyond to leave no stone unturned. Thank you so much Claire! You are an absolute gem!

I feel really lucky that Dr Curran & Partners is my local GP surgery. Everyone including the reception staff, nurses and GPs are kind and friendly and helpful. I had a blood test with Mandy and she was really lovely, good humoured and patient when I felt faint. And I had a phone consultation with Dr C who gave helpful advice and was really emotionally intelligent.

I have been a patient here for 25 years and cannot rate the doctors and medical staff highly enough. As is usual these days they call you to discuss your problem and if they need to see you they ask you in that day. Mandy the phlebotomist is excellent and is also very good on reception, as is one other younger lady. However, there are a couple of morning reception staff that are unhelpful and rude as in the other comments. Given that people wouldn't be attending if there wasn't something that needed treating this is not acceptable. They are dismissive in their approach and do the bare minimum to help. As this is the first point of call they should be trained or replaced. Secondly it would help to have computer literate people on reception.
