Thank you to Asian wedding cakes for creating an absolute show stopper.
We arranged for a 6 tier cake with each layer decorated with flowers in the colours my daughter had for her bridesmaids and each layer had a different flavour.
We met with Asim and discussed what we needed and were then shown examples of what we asked for. The choice was incredible and having selected what we wanted we were then provided with a sample of each flavour to taste.
The cake was delivered to the venue and the table decorated beautifully which included a complimentary cake knife and server that were engraved.
The cake was not only amazing to see but tasted delicious and stayed fresh for days.
Would absolutely recommend this company.
Thank you

I am absolutely disgusted in Asim’s customer service. The fact that he consciously made the effort to ruin the planning of my wedding by being difficult to work with reflects his character. To start with, he was extremely rude to me when I selected 4 flavours to choose from as per the document sent with the cake testers. I suggest he start paying more attention to the orders he accepts, and instead of being lazy and sending the generic forms to every customer then complaining about why I chose 4 flavours; amend the forms so they they meet each individual order instead of arguing with your customers about your own mistakes.

Due to his unprofessional attitude, despite me speaking to him in a civilised manner, my sister had to step forward to deal with the cake on my behalf. Her having to triple message him on WhatsApp and him actively having read the messages just evidences the poor communication skills he has. I’m genuinely in disbelief that his business is still running - after the experience I’ve had with him and many others I’ve come across that have also experienced similar poor attitudes from him, it’s evident that the only thing he’s interested in is the money - customer service is the least of his priorities and he’s demonstrated that well. As a ‘businessman’ he should have mastered the basics of putting customer service at the forefront as apposed to talking to his customers in a passive aggressive manner.

My sister messaged him after the wedding informing him that she was displeased with the cake. Where credit is due - the cake was aesthetically pleasing, however the taste is what mattered most. Baring in mind the price tag, I would’ve expected the minimum of the cake being soft and edible - not a single guest complimented the taste of the cake, and instead complained about how the sponge was hard and the icing was crumbling as if the cake was made days before the event which is highly likely. If he cared to acknowledge good customer service, he would have communicated effectively with my sister and the least he could have done is apologised.

I suggest he reflect on the focus of his business; business is beyond just making money. I strongly recommend to AVOID Asian wedding cakes!

I had the worst experience with this company, their customer service is appalling.

They arranged a consultation knowing the date of the wedding only to spend the entire consultation telling my they couldn't make the cake I wanted for that date. They also kept pushing their 'standard' cake which I clearly told them I did not want. Further, we were pushed to pay for a cake tasting despite their not being able to guarantee that they could take the booking should we choose to proceed - I elected to not go ahead with the tasting as I already had misgivings about them.

I was promised a call back regarding the possibility of their having time to make my cake but this was not forthcoming. Subsequent attempts to speak to them were ignored.

I would advise avoiding this company.
