Istanbul Kebab

We have been getting our Kabab dinner from this place for years. Although the portions got smaller in recent years, we still love getting our regular orders of lamb donor, chicken donor, mixed donor and two large chips. We sometimes order chicken wings and humus on the side depending on how hungry we are.

We still take our plastic container for chips as it used to bother me when hot chips melted polystyrene containers, but they replaced them with biodegradable or paper containers recently and it made me happy. I still prefer taking our own plastic container for chips.

Staff are friendly. It’s family owned.

Have been coming here for almost two months. First experience was very well and eventually became amazing. The owner and the workers try hard to make everything perfect and tasty. There are multiple joints around London similar but I’ve got to say this one tops all of them. If you are a fan of warm tasty food this place is definitely the spot for you. Won’t be whatsoever disappointed. My favorite on the menu is their kofte. Amazing taste!

Very good kebabs, one of the bests kebabs in the area. Good portions, friendly staff and everything clean nice discovery. Will come back :)

I've been to Istanbul Kebab around 6 times in the past year and I always order a large doner kebab with chips or pita bread.

Not much to say other than the lamb doner is simply amazing, good authentic meat flavour. Even better with their chilli sauce and salad, such a tasty meal. Chips have a good flavour too, better than most PFC's. Their doner is original, unlike the fake doner from PFC's that are mixed with 100 different spices that you can't taste the meat anymore.

One time I asked if I could try the chicken doner just to taste, the gentleman gave me half a box worth for free. I wasn't too keen on the flavour but I know other people do enjoy chicken doner.

It is really unhealthy lool so I try to keep a few months between each visit but the wait makes my meal even better.

I will highly recommend this kebab shop. This is our go to kebab shop when we feel like some take away. Our car detailing studio is right next to the shop so it’s a great choice. Customer service is 10/10.

One of the best kebabs in London; excellent quantity and quality. Very juicy meat with perfect crispy bits. Recommend the Family Kebab: consistently good (eaten 20+ over three years and it has never disappointed)

We've been eating here regularly for over 2 years and love this place. The family kebab is absolutely amazing and excellent value for money. They actually grill the meat on charcoal! We love it!

Excellent doner kebab. Generous and consistent portion. Tastes delicious always. The guys are always nice. One of my favourites in the East End.

Love these guys. I get the mix of chicken shish and kofte. It's a big portion for £10. Really good fresh salads and your standard sauces. Always friendly and always fast. I usually phone ahead and get there in 10 mins and it's ready. Kind of place you probably would just walk by, but you should give it a go. A gem

The best local kebab place! I love the lamb shish. Additionally, the service is always so warm, so hospitable and they remember their regulars.

I'd like to start off by saying the customer service here was excellent, not to mention the food. The doner kebab was well done and the sauces were extremely flavourous. They also have lachmachun which I highly recommend. I was treated very well and the service was amazing, I definitely recommend coming here or even just ordering for delivery, perfect for late night meals as well.

I'm telling you now. Best Kebab place in London. It's better than the famous 'Best Kebab' which is in Stoke Newington.
The flavour is extremely tantalising with every bite. The portion size is crazy, the brother overfills the box so you can't even close it. I have a very very big appetite and even I struggle to finish their doner meat and chips which is £6.50 from 1-4pm including drink and salad!!!

Even with so many kebab shops scattered pretty much anywhere you look in London I still find it hard to find really good quality offerings.

However, this place delivered the goods - delicious kebabs and friendly service, the shop is super clean and prices are reasonable.
