The Royal Academy of Arts was a great experience. The statue in front of the gate was particularly impressive, setting the tone for the artistic wonders inside.
The galleries were well-curated, showcasing a diverse range of art that captivated me throughout my visit. I highly recommend it to art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

I love visiting the RA, one of my favourite venues. Membership for under 35 year olds is only about £70/year so it’s very good value. Always well organised galleries with beautiful art and cheerful staff. The cafe has nice food and lovely coffee, it could be cheaper but not expensive considering the location. Highly recommend

Went to see the last supper sculpture especially by Tavares Strachan. It is awesome. Black and gold. Two striking colours. Very spectacular. A must see. It is free to see to the public. I bought a ticket for the entangled pasts 1768-now. Another worth seeing exhibition engaging and thought provoking. We had a great day. Ending with some delicious tea in the restaurant.

Always a treat coming to see the art shows here! This institution has reputation, is a beautiful place to visit for art shows, occasional late shows and our favourite, enjoy coffee and a chat in their famous courtyard. Today we loved interracting with the beautiful The First Supper sculpture by Tavares Strachan.. a great conversation piece in every way!

A lovely blend of older and newer works of art. I really loved the summer art exhibition that was on and I thought it was brilliant, fresh and youthful. Would recommend going here especially if you or a friend are a meme we as there are lots of cool extra bits to see.

Gr8 art exhibitions that change on a regular basis. Members entry (or go as a guest with a member). Some of the artists who have been exhibited and I have seen are Van Gogh, Whistler, Tracy Ermin, Kyosai, Gustav Klimt (displayed with Whistler), Francis Bacon, Goya, Velazquez, El Greco, Joaquin Sorolla, Angelica Kaufman, amongst many, many others. RAA shop has the expected books on Art and Artists, and also unusual items like handmade paper (expensive! But a gr8 buy as a gift for professional or budding artists). Must visit for Art lovers! Also lots to do outside the gallery as you are in the heart of London - Fortnum & Masons Department Store, Piccadilly, Soho, Ritz Hotel, Pall Mall, St James Park etc etc, so you can make a day of it.

I went there on a week day and didn't know the Burlington house is where the RAA is located but finally found it. And this exhibition is a must see. The Entangled Past 1768-now.

Had a great day out here. Staff were friendly, building and exhibitions, flawless. And the gift shop is splendid. They also accept student discount ☺

Went to the Marina Abramovix exhibition. This was a deep and thought provoking view into the mind of the artist. It's a very moving exhibition. Not suitable for children, some tasteful nudity. It's ab absolute must if you know about this artist

A friend and I went to see two exhibitions at the RA recently. In spite of it being during the Easter holidays, the galleries were not overcrowded and there was plenty of room to circulate, read the picture descriptions and even sit down occasionally. The members' room (my friend is a member) was also not that busy and we were able to catch up with our news and discuss the exhibition over coffees and rolls. Altogether, a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Summer exhibition this was absolutely stunning, well curated, clearly a labor of love and there was such a good spread of art. The band playing and free drinks were a really nice touch.

It's an interesting space to visit even when there isn't a special exhibition, this is my second visit and the first was also wonderful.

A fabulous impressionist collection with diverse art including sculptures, drawings and paintings. Impressionists on Paper has an interesting take on how impressionists saw the potential for paper, capturing moments of truth with pencil, pen or chalk.

I visited the RA for the Marina Abramovich retrospective. It was an outstanding exhibition, in a fantastic setting. Give yourself a good two hours to appreciate the exhibition and treat yourself to a nice coffee or lunch at the RA’s lovely but very busy cafe. Definitely book tickets as many time slots sell out fast.

Visited the Souls Grown Deep like the Rivers exhibition and the Summer Exhibition. Enjoyed both exhibitions which were both very different but excellent. It was quite busy but not too crowded. Lots of staff around to help. Bought SGDLTR posters which will be framed. Highly recommend.

RA is full of hidden places with historic and contemporary art. Right now the exhibition Making Modernism is an emotional journey through female artists’ life stories. People are deeply moved observing the artworks. It is the busiest I have seen the place in the last 3 years. It gives a feeling that people are returning back to cultural exploration
