Smart street-corner pub about 10 minutes walk from Clapham Junction Station. Two cask beers on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating in the garden to the rear most of it covered.

I was only visiting for a pint before a show at the Battersea Arts Centre but the pub offers an interesting Mediterranean influenced menu.

Fantastic local pub with a great selection of drinks and a bold, Mediterranean inspired menu that makes for a welcome change from the usual British pub classics.

The VIBE is resoundingly warm & local, perhaps helped by a more traditional exterior that wards off snobs. The beer garden is a tranquil retreat and there are many nooks and crannies around the pub where you can post up for a private chat.

The FOOD is great and the menu is well thought out. Light bites, hearty meals and sharing platters all feature as well as a nice ever-changing selection of cheeses.

The SERVICE is great but perhaps a little slow, although I think that's all part of the charm. This isn't a pub that's churning out the vodka soda limes to a charged up crowd, it's a nice local haunt that wouldn't be out of place in the countryside.

A great all round experience from the food, drinks, flexibility (we were a late booking with a 1-year old in prime Sunday roast time) and the service - this particularly was a breath of fresh air with staff that actually seemed to care.

Looking forward to returning again soon.

Local pub with great food and good variety of beers and ales.
The Mediterranean themed food is delicious. My wild boar pasta was flavourful and perfectly cooked and perfect on a winter’s night. Special mention also go to the pate. I didn’t have much space for desert but my dining partner managed to squeeze in profiteroles filled with ice cream.
There have a wide and varied selection of various beers and ales, some on tap others bottled/ can.
The staff are friendly and efficient, if somewhat busy serving food and drinks behind the bar.

Excellent pub in Clapham, with fantastic food and a great selection of booze to choose from. However, the best thing about it for me is the garden - one of the best I've ever been to in London in terms of atmosphere. You might not immediately think so when visiting, but the size of it, combined with the lush planting and the nice evening lighting, makes it feel like you're on holiday during hot summer evenings.

Beautiful pub within a quiet residential area. With a large leafy beer garden at the back this is a perfect spot for a sunny day. It also has an excellent array of gins to enjoy.

Had a really great experience at this pub. The staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for the dog we were looking after. We went back and a delicious Sunday roast and again the staff were great!

Lovely cute pub tucked away in Putney. Nice wine list even for wines by the glass, and good food selection. V cosy with candles and nice ambiance.

Always walked passed and never gave this pub a shot. But I’m glad I did. Classic warm and cosy pub vibe, with friendly staff and lovely food. Cracking Guinness too.

It's a great pub with a good selection of beer and wine. Good food and a really cool atmosphere. Perfect place to catch up with an old friend. The garden is really nice as well

One of our fav neighborhood locals. The menu always changes and offers an excellent selection. The Sunday roast options also are really good!

Great pub roast on a Sunday and exceptional food the rest of the week. Love going here, great space, friendly staff. The perfect local.

Nice place with great food

I went with a friend a few weeks back, and was extremely impressed by both the food and service. The pub requests that customers wear masks except when seated at the table (it was table service only even back in July and August), which makes me feel safer than I normally would in the pub. The sausages and mash were superlative, and in general the menu and wine list look good, with much ‘traditional gastropub’ food being on the menu. The garden is great in summer, whilst the indoor space has the atmosphere of an ‘old boozer’ whilst still being chic and (importantly!) clean. The food is on the expensive side, perhaps, but 100% worth it. If any pubs are open during the winter months, this is my top tip to make a reservation....!
