Carpenters Arms

Lovely little place in the mid of the forrest. I went here with my family so we could enjoy a nice lunch and have a nice walk in the forrest. We had our little jack russell with us. But that was ok, the place is very dog friendly, and the staff very lovely.

The food is big portion rustic food, but very well made. Particularly the mains were very good, and very well made, cleay made on the day.

Very recommended to visit and enjoy the beautiful forrest after.

I think it was shut when we tried to go but I remember being excited about visiting so there must be something about it. Looking forward to seeing you again soon

Best bar in the area. The management worked very hard to maintain the authentic 70’s East end vibe. A true historic monument restored in time. Come here for a slice of history and a pint for £3.95. Prices impossible to match in central london these days. Cost of living crisis is no problem here
Come and enjoy. You will probably meet Del boy and Trigger as well. You will amazing people here !!

Live music every Saturday night which doesn't disappoint.

Traditional cockney pub. Great history, good prices and live music.

Decent enough pub. Have used it for parties/funerals/ family meet ups Had family over from Ireland visiting and had a lived band. Was about 25 of us in total inside and outside.

Visited on Sunday afternoon for Cockney, Pearlie Kings an Queens Sing Song Day .. Sang and danced all afternoon .Great pub and Atmosphere. Lots of other music nights .Sadly does not take cards and is not every Sunday .The Pearlies are Busy everywhere raising money for charity.

Great east end pub and always return to this pub after a couple in the blind beggar! Proper ole school eastenders who are salt of the earth! I live in Sussex now but I always know my roots!!!

What a special place to visit! Old school pub with glamourous looking visitors. Be ready for a great music and cheapest drinks.

Very good old style pub..east end has lost its identity pub wise...let's get away from craft beer...all beers are crafted !
