Favourite restaurant we ate at on our trip to London. Every thing we ordered was so delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations. The pasta dishes were by far the best thing we had. Will definitely return on our next trip over. It’s a little expensive but we felt it was worth it for the quality of the food and ingredients.

Delicious food, impeccable service, cannot fault this place at all. We went for the focaccia and the courgette salad to start, the focaccia was very tasty and is a must, and the courgette salad was so light and fresh. I had the mushroom and leek ravioli for main with a nice sweet Madeira sauce – very comforting, rich food. For pudding I had the chocolate and amaretto mousse which was the perfect way to finish a great meal. The wine was also very good. The service was excellent throughout and the vibe here was really lively. Highly recommend and will return!

Beautiful restaurant, very cool location and delicious food. Great value for money. It may have been what we ordered, and also because we went for lunch without any alcohol, the food felt to be a bit too heavy/oily. Probably better with glasses of nice wine!

Hidden gem just behind tower bridge. Small but well decorated place with a small catalogue with Italian recipes. All the dishes we had were excellent, service was quick and polite and the cost really fair.

Food:
- Started with the brilliant Focaccia - highly recommended.
- The Burrata, Beef Tartare, and Fried Brussels Sprouts all hit the spot - really great taste and amazing quality. Especially loved the Brussels Sprouts.
- The Fettuccelle Ragu was amazing - super well cooked pasta and a flavour packed Ragu.
- Good cannoli, but I'd say that it's not a must have.

Service:
- Absolutely superb service from all of the staff that served us!

Atmosphere:
- A very intimate, small restaurant with an open kitchen - you can see the chefs make all the amazing dishes just metres away from you. Loved it!

I cannot rave enough about this amazing place. From the moment we walked in to the minute we left, the attention, service, and of course the food was perfection. A gem, not to be missed. I love that it has a small, seasonal menu, making the most of the best ingredients on offer. Being able to see one of the chefs making the beetroot ravioli was a highlight! We will be back, over and over again.

Best pasta in London. Pricey when perhaps Padella and Flour and Grape offer serious opposition for cheaper, but I have eaten here 3 times and the pasta always delivers. Wine list extensive and interesting

This small, intimate Italian in Butler's Wharf has amazing food and great service (Alice is definitely on her game). It is quite small, with a limited number of tables, so a reservation is highly recommended. That said, the service is attentive, while not being overbearing. The atmosphere is fun and lively, while still retaining a sense of a charm. And the food (not just the pasta) is great. The menu is limited, but everything is very well prepared. I had a pasta for primi (excellent) and the cod for secondi (prepared very well). If you are in the area definitely save time for a meal here.

Let me start by how welcoming the staff is at Legare. We mistakingly booked an appointment for a week later & despite being fully booked, they managed to find us a lovely outdoor table to enjoy our dinner. The service was very fast and the staff was very helpful and friendly throughout. The food was incredible! We had:

- Charred white peach salad
- Focaccia and olive oil (melted in my mouth)
- Risotto Nero (must try)
- Tagliatelle w/ chicken liver
- Cannoli w/ hazelnut (I’ll be thinking of this dish for a while)
- Fresh lemonade juice

Can’t recommend this enough! All dishes we had are highly recommended. Will definitely be back!

The service was excellent, from the moment we arrived we were kindly welcomed, our waiter was really amazing and lovely. The food is great, the menu is very small, prices a bit high but in line with high quality. Food presentation is Michelin Star level. My wife wanted to order something not in the menu and they were super open and prepared exactly the pasta and sauce that she wanted. Fully recommended.

Amazing dinner/service/experience! Alice was amazing host/server/woman extraordinaire! Food was truly a gastronomic delight and wine pairing was great recommendation by Alice. One of best meals we have had overall and definitely best meal we have ever had in London and that is saying a lot as London dinner scene is world-class and we have dined at some amazing gastronomic establishments! Highly recommend and look forward to our next visit!

absolutely delicious! Scott welcomed us & took very good care of us while at the restaurant. The whole staff was nice! They all frequently checked in on us while we ate. My husband & I are just some silly Americans & had no idea what some of the menu options were. Scott explained EVERY food item to us. He did not get upset by all of the questions we asked. Our meals & drinks were delicious! Food was fast & HOT. I can’t thank Scott & the staff enough for how well they catered to us. Seriously, thank you so much.

I’ve dined here many times and it is the best Italian restaurant in London. The menu changes periodically. The pasta is amazing and the focaccia bread is a must! Great wine, cocktails, service. It’s magic

Visited in 2022 and can’t stop talking about it! The staff is different level. Not only that they’re kind, accommodating and knowledgeable, happy to answer any question and attend to any need. They seem to get energy from interacting with their guests making the atmosphere so very welcoming and warm. Standard of the food matches the quality of the service here. Beautifully tasteful interior. Value oozing from every bite, sight and smile.

I had saved Legare in my 'must-try' list for a while. Yet, despite living just 10 minutes away, I never really noticed it. The restaurant is somewhat hidden, adding to its allure.

This weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Legare with my parents and my boyfriend. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a cosy and charming atmosphere. The manager warmly welcomed us and ensured we had a pleasant experience throughout the evening. The service was really great.

Food-wise, everything we tried was both delicate and delicious. The starters were diverse and intriguing: we tried vitello tonnato, crostini with tallegio and fig/honey, and a special: Sardinian mint culurgiones with a tomato sauce. Each starter was a hit, bursting with flavor. However, when it came to mains, we felt slightly limited with only three pasta/risotto options. Most of us opted for the leek/pancetta risotto, which was delightful, while one chose the beetroot ravioli with goat cheese in a brown butter sauce. For dessert, we tried pistachio/vanilla cannolis and a chocolate cremoso. The portions were quite small, which was appreciated after a generous dinner.

I will definitely visit again. If you're looking for a high-end Italian experience, I highly recommend this address!

It started with a joyful staff that made us happy and things just became better and better as dishes arrived.
The menu is short but offers great vegetarian options. We enjoyed a zesty salad with perfect crisp yet airy fuccacia dipped in rich olive oil. We shared a comforting cacio a peppe and creative gnocchi. The sauce was superb, so shameless, we indulged ourselves with another slice of fuccacia that provided shiny plates and further happiness.
Looking forward for our next visit.
