Vintry and Mercer

My husband and I arrived here at midnight on a Friday night after having had a bad experience at another hotel. Justin greeted us and checked us in, he was so friendly and went above and beyond! The hotel is charming, full of character and feels luxurious. Once we got to our room we were even happier! The room is on the smaller side but had everything we could need. Robes, slippers, complimentary mini fridge items, comfortable bed and other details. We finally got a good night of sleep! They also have a really cool rooftop restaurant and bar. Staff all throughout the hotel were friendly and made us feel welcome. It’s also conveniently located near a tube station. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

I loved this hotel - the location is excellent, being close to the metro and Tate Modern, making it easy to get to various parts of the city. My room was clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated, equipped with everything I needed. The hotel’s decor is stunning, and the staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. Additionally, the rooftop restaurant and bar provide a lovely place to spend time with a great view.

We really enjoyed out stay in Vintry and Mercer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very beautiful and clean room. The bed is so comfortable - it is a must when you spend the entire day exploring the city. Definitely will come back when in London.

This really was a perfect stay. It was the best night's sleep I've had in London. Comfy bed with black out curtains. Never heard a single siren/street noise which was a first, I normally have to wear earplugs. Well equipped room.
Service throughout the hotel was second to none from reception to breakfast. Room turn down immaculate. Good location with tube stop at the road and taxis that picked us up for the door. Not a bad thing to say. 10/10. Thanks for a great stay.

Patricia and Dmitri were extremely helpful in making my stay memorable for me and my fionce. When I told them it was for my proposal they had helped me make arrangements for making the room special and even kindly upgraded our room. Breakfast is also must try! Definitely 5 star experience and wonderful staff.

We chose Vintry and Mercer for our team gathering, it had a stunning interior design, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel welcome. As there was no halal food to choose from, I was delighted to find an extensive selection of delicious vegetarian options available, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience.

The team at Vintry & Mercer went above and beyond to make my birthday stay special. The rooms are gorgeous, especially the bathroom with heated floors and top notch water pressure. I ate the salmon and avocado toast every morning because it was that good. Also great location.

Lovely hotel near numerous tube stations and lines, which makes getting around to different parts of the city so easy. We stayed for two nice and the service and facilities were exceptional. View from the rooftop restaurant was beautiful and would definitely stay again!

This five-star hotel indeed deserves a five-star, amazing room with an exceptional service. The room was cosy with an antique look. Comfy beds and great shower. All in-room gadgets were perfect, from makeup removal wipes to loofah, vanity kit, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. A fully stacked mini bar with multiple choices of drinks free of charge. Great room service and very, very clean rooms. The only thing I did not like was that the breakfast was based on a menu, and I was a huge fan of a breakfast buffet. And it seems slightly overpiced. Tgey alao have a rooftop reaturant and a cocktail bar. Overall highly recommended hotel.

This is a fabulous boutique hotel. The service was incredible. The rooms were beautiful and very carefully decorated. The ambience was just delicious. Everything in the mini bar (soda, water, juice, etc) had an unlimited and free refill. Everything was done tastefully. Such a wonderful hotel and somethibg tells me this will be a permanent fixture for me in the future. What would I change? The location is nice but certainly not the busiest place. But for me I'd say this works just fine. The price was unbeatable and the rating is very sell deserved

Cleanliness - 5/5: The hotel is impeccably maintained and my room service was top notch.

Staff - 5/5: The staff was friendly and very helpful in providing information about the area/running paths.

Location - 5/5: Location cannot be beaten—was close to all the major tourist attractions and tube lines, along with some good restaurants and bars (including the rooftop and speakeasy downstairs). Also a stone’s throw from the Thames—the walkability index is quite high!

Rooms - 5/5: The room snacks/beverages, toiletries, and amenities, along with all the other hotel-wide amenities, were a wonderful touch, including the BUILT-IN voltage adapter (even though I’d packed my own)! The designs of the rooms are also chic and thoughtful.

Noise - 4/5: My only (very minor) complaint would be that based on the location of my room, I could sometimes hear the staff out back in the garage early in the morning. Other than that, the rooms are generally quiet and cozy, and I will definitely return :)

Lovely boutique hotel. Cosy rooms, lovely decor, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, brilliant room service, and great value. Highly recommended for short stays. Thoughtful staff provide birthday treats. Visited a lot of hotels like Cafe Royal and Shangri-La and V&M is easily in the top 5.

My partner and I stayed for one night to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary, and we had the nicest time and will definitely go back. All of the staff who we spoke to were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Our room was upgraded on arrival, and as it was a special occasion, they offered us complimentary champagne, which we enjoyed on the roof terrace. We also ordered some bread and olives which were delicious, and the bread was absolutely huge! We weren't expecting an entire loaf! When we came back to our room from dinner, there was a note wishing me a happy birthday and a couple of little sweets, which was such a lovely touch. The bed was incredibly comfy, and we both slept so well. The bathroom was beautiful, and everything was so clean. The hotel itself was very quiet when we stayed, which suited us, and we didn't hear a peep from anyone when we were in our room. I absolutely loved everything about this hotel and couldn't recommend it enough. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer.

I have traveled to London for a number of years, staying everywhere from the Shangri-La to the Ned, the Ham Yards (still my personal favorite) to the Hotel Cafe Royal. I would count Vintry & Mercer as a top pick, as it is small, boutique, in a relatively quiet area, with decent service. The suites aren't large as far as suites are concerned, but there's something very cozy and comfortable about this property. It's certainly in my Top 3 hotels in London atm. Great work.

Delightful hotel tucked away in the City near most of the sights. Great night's sleep. Lovely roof top bar and restaurant. Loved best their offer of a glass of water with every meal or drink you have. So hospitable and costs little.

Wow, what a beautiful hotel and ground floor cocktail bar, not forgetting the roof terrace! Having visited this lovely hotel for 3 days recently I can not recommend it more highly. The layout, decor, drinks and service are matched only by the friendliness of all the staff! Iain in DnD, (who makes the BEST long island tea I have ever had is just brilliant) Antonio that runs the roof terrace area and Monica who waitresses to the most charming young lady on front of desk and her colleague also manning reception. Whoever is recruiting for this place, well done! I will be returning over and over again!
