Teston Bridge Country Park

We love taking our SUP boards here as a family, easy to paddle back up the river too and some beautiful sights en route whether you're walking or on the water. Lots of wildlife and interesting things to see. Parking prices are reasonable and there is a little cafe stall in the car park if you're wanting some snacks or drinks. There are picnic benches available. The toilets are always clean when we have visited too.

Beautiful walk along the river to Wateringbury, muddy underfoot in places, brilliant for dogs who want a swim too. Autumn colours + good coffee = big win. Saw geese flying overhead.
Car park has toilets too. You can pay with coins or card, or via an app, like others have said the signal is poor but you can pay later in the day.

Good car park and toilets. Big open grass part for children to play in and only a short walk to the Medway river. 1.5 mile walk upstream to the cafes in Wateringbury.

Beautiful place! Car parking on site, loads of picnic tables around the field, and right on the river. Toilet block and snack hut, didn't try it, but it looked good.
Good for dog walkers.
Easily accessible if you're in a wheelchair and the paths are flat.

Nice place to walk, picnic and relax. Coffee hut, overpriced and badly made. Toilets are available and nice and clean.

Attractive park with walks by the river, open space ideal for games and picnics and pleasant views. Plenty of paid on-site parking available and toilet facilities behind the parking area. Good for families and dog walking.
Look out for the old medieval bridge crossing the River Medway.

Love Teston country park. Amazing views, cheap parking. Massive field for the kids or dogs to run around. If you fancy a walk along the water then it's great for that too. Yes there is a park for the kids. Also at the entrance of the car park you can get hot an cold drinks from the coffee shop. Clean toilets available.

Beautiful park newly discovered for us. Sizeable car park (P&D but reasonable cost), with toilets and a coffee shop stand as well. Playground is fabulous and really new. Only point to bear in mind is that the toilets are a bit of a walk to the playground, so prepare little ones in advance! Will definitely be back to explore.

Great park to come to enjoy stroll along the river or go for longer 16 miles distance though Medway Valley, which leads to Rochester (East) or to Tonbridge (West) - 12 miles. Your dogs will love it! :)

If you have licence from the Environment agency and love fishing, then it is perfect place for you - there are the highest level of fish stocks along the entire River Medway, which include: pike, chubb, barbel , roach, perch and bream.

There are 2 good size car parks there ( the main and overflow one). £1.50 for whole day! Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays- £2 50 for whole day.

Public facilities next to the main car park.

There is also play area for kids located next to overflow car park.

You can purchase cold/hot drinks, cakes or ice cream in the little cafe located in the main car park.

We really enjoyed our time and walk there and definitely recommend it!

Always an excellent walk along the river at anytime of day. Plenty of wildlife to spot. Always a good place to spot a Kingfisher. Been lucky enough to capture a Stoat and a Mink!

Beautiful country park on the river Medway with great walks. Car park uses Ringo but make sure you use the right code.

Great place to go for walks, £2 for the car park, lasting all day, clean and neat toilet. Wear appropriate footwear as very muddy in some places.

Loved it . First time with my puppy dog. We had a great walk along the river.

This is the newly updated (June '22) playground at Teston. It's great having no dirty wood chips to contend with toddlers playing/eating them. And also a more even surface for them to run on. The new equipment is generous for exploring, playing and sharing together. It's well-spaced and all children love a play boat and pirate ship. Two slides but alas the main one was too hot sun-facing in this heatwave. There are a lot of large thick wooden animal pieces just outside of the playground for little ones to enjoy too. There are litter bins by the gates and it's securely fenced with wood all the way around.

I love this place. A beautiful area to walk the dog, wonderful views, a gorgeous river with boats and swans. It's nearly a 4 mile walk in all. Halfway around Is"the Rambelers Rest" a fantastic cafe /Pet shop, set in a big barn,, with outside seating. Great food.

Very nice place to calm and relaxing walk along the river. Watching boats passing through the lock. Coffee shop on site in car park. Parking is cheap as well £2 all day parking on weekends and £1.50 Weekdays.

Great place for a walk along the river, massive picnic ground with few picnic tables. Clean toilets. Cheap parking at £1.30 on weekdays and £2.00 on weekends and Bank Holiday for the whole day. Also great for canoeing and stand-up paddling.

Beautiful. Well maintained land. Always staff around. Lovely little cafe/ shop in the car park with lovely staff member who answer all your questions.
Opportunities to purchase fishing day passes from the shop and go fishing.
Lovely play area for the children. Wide open spaces for peaceful walks out. Dog walkers and the like. Everyone enjoys this space together and its lovely to see it all blend in together.

Had a lovely morning here. My granddaughter loved the playground, lots of things suitable for her age group (18mths) and older. Had a lovely walk and found the Highland cow resting in the shade, then a walk along the river.
