The BBQ wings starter had a tasty batter, we all loved them. Well cooked beef stake, and delicious lasagna. The food here is generally sweeter.

We had a number of lovely waitresses, thank you guys very much.

Friendly, welcoming place. Lovely staff, especially Carole K, she was an absolute star!! And she went above and beyond with her service, even offering to take our photo (after seeing that we’d taken ‘selfies’). Food was great and came out quick. Really enjoyed our meal there… Carole we’re currently googling Queen Mary cruises to New York 😊

Nice dining areas and menu - much more restaurant-like than pub-like. Wonderful food, and my medium-rare rib eye was perfectly cooked. Side dishes (salad, roated vegetables, onion rings, mushroom and tomato) were all excellent too.

Food was delicious best I've ever had at a beefeater.

Best waitress Carol or Claire. So polite, lovely chats and on the ball. First time I've ever praised a waitress and given her a tip. My partner knows I don't like many people who serve me. But she went back and beyond for us. Would come again when next in the area.

We went for a group Christmas dinner. Carol looked after us very well, she was very attentive, helpful, cheerful and had a lovely warm personality. Service was quick in a good way. The food was lovely, could not fault it. Lovely and fresh and everything hot. The Xmas dinner was cooked to perfection - fresh, just the right amount, and will all trimmings. We felt the menu was very good value for money too and we went for the 3 course option. Would 100% recommend.

We had a fantastic time celebrating my mum's 70th birthday with delicious food and friendly, welcoming and professional servers. Sue D made our night particularly fun and memorable with her fun personality and keen attention to making sure we had a great time 😁

Came in on Christmas day as a party of 6. First time ever eating out for Christmas and what a amazing day had by all. But the best thing was our Waitress Sue, she made our day and is a great asset to the restaurant. Will be back, thank you Sue for making us feel special xx

First time here. A lovely atmosphere and the waitress Sue was great. She really looked after our party of 13 and was very attentive. The food was amazing. Look forward to returning

I took a group of 18 ladies for lunch on Friday 8th and we had a very enjoyable meal. Sue, our waitress, was absolutely brilliant and helpful and it mean't that everyone was able to enjoy themselves as she looked after us so well. So I wanted to thank her and recommend this Beefeater.

Food was surprisingly good for a Beefeater and the service was brilliant.
Ordered a rare steak and it actually came out rare!
I hope these standards are maintained.

I came here for business throughout the 4 days & every meal (morning & evening) was perfection! I couldn't ask for better food & service, will definitely return for leisure if I am not back soon enough for business.

Very good Christmas Day dinner for our family of 15 with first class service by Stacey. Well organised by Manager with nothing to complain about at all. The long table was very well laid out and felt very christmassy with all the table decor. Food was very good and plenty of choice with good selection of wine.

Came here for Sunday lunch on a busy Sunday with some family.
We hadn't booked, and we were seated rather quickly after a nice drink at the bar.

My partners dietary requirements were attended to without fault, which felt very accommodating. Service was speedy and consistent, making us feel welcome at all times.

The quality of the food was incredible - everything was perfect. Usually when you go for a meal, there may be one thing that's average. In this case, all was very, very enjoyable. The portion sizes were very good value for money, and very well presented too. The experience was wonderful, and I would definitely return in future. Coffee tasted great too, which is always a perfect compliment to a lovely meal, as did the scrumptious Lemon Tart and Cadburys Crunchie Cheesecake.

Many thanks to all the chefs, the accommodating and knowledgable manager and also to Sue (an asset to the business) for her relentless energy, natural enthusiasm and caring attitude.

My friend and I visited to a very busy Friday evening. Sue was wonderful and ensured that we were seated as pre-booked, and made sure that she frequented our table to take the food & drink order. It's her service that was invaluable and made the experience great! Also a separate note of positivity needs to go to the chefs, as the food was excellent!

Took my 95 year old dad for Sunday lunch and served by Sue. My dad is in a wheelchair and he recognised her from a previous visit and she was so kind and thoughtful and attended to his needs. The service was great - not rushed and food was as good as usual!

We had great service by Carol and the food was lovely. Staff was friendly.
