Great bakery with interesting pastries. We had the bun with chocolate mousse and pecan praline, which was tasty and had nice flaky pastry, although a bit hard to eat as it was massive. We also had the pistachio chocolate swirl, also with great flaky pastry and a good balanced flavour. I tried their fig leaf latte which I had never had before, it really did taste and smell like fig leaves! It was a bit grainy in texture though.

This place is an OG of London’s bakery scene but I’ve never been before! 🤯
Miel bakery is a relatively small, cute bakery and there were always people queing when I went on a sunny Sunday morning (the queue moves super quick so don't worry) 😉
.
I tried three of their pastries and they have so many to pick from including savoury ones, cookies, cakes and even fresh bread 🍞🥖
.
What I tried and recommend:
🥐Chocolate Bun - if you are a chocoholic, this one is filled to the brim!
🥐Pistachio and Chocolate Swirl -  just the right amount of sweetness, intense pistachio flavour
🥐Palmier Biscuit - super crispy coated in sweet sugary glaze
.
📍Location: Warren street
🚇Closest station: Euston square or Great Portland Street Barons court
💰Price: £6 Chocolate Bun
£6.50 Pistachio and Chocolate Swirl
£2.80 Palmier Biscuit
£2.50 Espresso
£3.50 Flat white
£5.00 Hot Chocolate

Miel is such a special place! It has a very nice vibe; the staff is very friendly, clam and helpful. The pastries are incredibly tasty with perfect textures, flavours and very high quality ingredients. The coffee is also very good so I would definitely recommend having a nice breakfast in this place if you are around :)

Luscious tasting perfect pastries. I wanted something sweet so I asked for recommendations. They were all dreamy.

Definitely get the Pistachio Swirl because it has the perfect balance of tasty salty pistachio with the depth of dark chocolate over a flaky pastry.

The double chocolate cookie has a hint of saltiness inside the rich sweetness which makes it so moreish.

The pastries are soooo yummy! The pistachio swirl is to die for. So is their hazelnut chocolate croissant. The savory pastries are yummy too; try the cheese/tomatoe/basil but have it right away while it is warm.

Wow!!! These pastries are made with love. I tried a spinach and fita pastry and it is just wonderful. I had a caramelized roll as well (not sure of the name but its in the photos) and wow. It is just so decadent. The lady who served me was absolutely brilliant and made wonderful suggestions.
My only complaint is that the prices are so high.

I was recommended Miel by a friend and almost didn't go. There was nothing that stood out on their Instagram. But, a recommendation must be honoured when it's from a fellow foodie!

I am very glad I went! Their pistachio swirl has a good amount of pistachio in it. It's also a kind of pistachio butter, making it far more exciting and flavoursome. It was flaky, buttery, and just tasted incredible.

Extremely close to a 10/10 - but, just me being picky, I would have just loved for it to be a bit bigger and have a bit more chocolate chips inside.

The chocolate striped pan au chocolat had hazelnut inside. It was still great, but the pistachio swirl was so good that this taste average.

I will no doubt be back for that pistachio swirl and could not recommend it enough.

We got there just after it opened, and my guess would be, they run out or get too busy.

Introduced Kouign Amann to my friend with the freshly baked one from Miel. Enough to say that he went back for another and started looking for more!

The pistacio chocolate escagot also surprised me. It has nice flaky layers and generous filling. Sadly, the pain au chocolat was not at the same standard as the other two.

A beautiful, little, cute cafe serving one of the best baked cheesecake 🧀, enjoyed it so much a cup of coffee ☕, so delightful and relaxing it was. Just loved it, so highly recommended.

One of the best bakeries in London I think. The pistachio thing was amazing. I wish they had more seating and better coffee.

Expensive pastries but worth it! I had the kouign amann and the apple chausson. The pastry was better than any I've ever had! Very friendly service from the owner too.

Today I visited Miel Bakery, which I have visited several times before, and it was wonderful as usual. It's always a pleasure to see what items they have for sale currently (I spend the whole queue time trying to see!) and their coffee is excellent. My partner particularly loved their cinnamon buns and I found the madeleines so light and fluffy. There was a queue quite early on a bank holiday Monday when most of London was not awake yet, which is a solid indicator of a bakery that has multiple repeat visitors! You do need to wait, but it's definitely worth the wait.

OH MY GOSH. This place has some of the freshest, most unique and incredible pastries. I tried the pistachio swirl, chocolate mousse croissant, palmier and brought a loaf of sourdough. All of the pastries were divine and the sourdough was perfect and stayed fresh for 2-3 days. Truly one of the best bakeries in London, a must-try if in the city

I NEVER usually buy anything with nuts in them especially a cookie. When I saw the choc chip cookies laid out, they looked irresistible. But when I ordered them, they told me they were pecan cookies. The usual me would’ve never considered it but for some reason I couldn’t resist it. It was amazing! The best cookie I’ve had. Crispy, chewy, chocolatey and not too sweet! The pecans really complement the cookie. This is by far my favourite cookie in London!

Fabulous sourdough bread. A very good pastry selection. Everything is freshly cooked on the premises. Nice coffee too.
Inside are some awesome stools which swivel. A very good experience and definitely one that will be repeated.

Lovely little bakery - more expensive than I was expecting, but you get what you pay for! My girlfriend said it was the best croissant she had eaten in london, which is a huge claim. We had two iced coffees and two pastries and it came to around £12.

I wanted to try this place, so I had a few things

The pistachio pastry is incredible !!! The amount of pistachio on it makes it very rich and tasty.

The cannelé was really good, but I think the price is a little too high.

I was about to go, but they had just brought madeleines still hot from the over, so I couldn't resist. It was very well made and soft.

Some of the best pastries I have had in London !! I really loved this place. The staff was also very warm and welcoming. I recommend :)
Will definitely go again to try the rest
