Limi who I contacted via social media for assistance was INCREDIBLE! I'm currently overseas and was trying to call through to commbank and was on hold for far too long. I sent a DM on Instagram and Limi came back to me straight away and helped me with everything that I needed - never been happier with a banks service, he made my day :) thank you Limi from Instagram lol

Called to close my account after leaving Oz which I'd accidentally left open for 7 months (oops) and just forgotten about when i returned to the UK. They were so nice and helpful and closed the account within minutes of me calling..... I dont even get that service with my UK bank!!!

I would recommend this bank to anyone, it definitely works.

My girlfriends works there. Building looks nice, however lacks a bit of flamboyance. Also, unless you get inside there is nothing saying the bank is inside. But otherwise good looking place in a very good location, easy to access.

Easy to navigate website and app.

Some 20 years ago I visited Australia,I was going to return but never did. However I found that I still had $80 Australian. I phoned head office London and they said if I present the notes to a British bank they will exchange them into UK funds. I have been to all the banks in Peterborough UK and they said that the notes were old could not be exchanged. I bought this currency in good faith,does the Australian Government not stand by their currency in spite of changing the style of their notes ??? Derek Vickers.

I wrote 4 months ago - no reply.

I have tried to call the branch but the advertised numbers no longer exist.

I have tried contacting the branch via email to my relationship manager, but the email bounces back.

I have called Australia using the numbers advertised and they say they do not have any contact details, names or numbers for London – which beggars belief! The only thing suggested was a walk up appointment.

So I'm going on the 27th to see what happens. But I am VERY unimpressed so far.

I called (this is almost a 300 mile round trip) for my walk up appointment. The receptionist said she gets several people a week, but there are NO appointments and NO ONE is there to see anyone. You have to ring Australia...

Dont bother going, you're wasting your time.

I chased again in Feb and raised another formal complaint. The finding of the complaint was the last complaint hadnt been completed correctly so it was processed again.

As I hadnt heard anything again after 3 months, I raised another complaint. This time the finding confirmed that the complaint had been processed and the funds were about to be released but some technical fault prevented the funds being transferred. But, the incredible thing is the funding dept didnt report back about the issue!

This time, the customer services agent took responsibility for sorting it - her name is Liniah and she has been excellent. We have had a goodwill amount sent by chq to cover our expenses and we now await the refund amount to be transferred.....

But, the overall service has been appalling.

Absolutely appalling service. Am expected to fly to Aus to prove who I am even after completing their identification process. Won't help and we are expected to use the app for everything. Steer well clear. Im trying to close account and transfer funds to the UK. This promises to be interesting
