Wow!!.... What a fantastic find the horsebox bakery is. Great friendly service from all the staff members. They accept cash or card payments.
Great value for money. We all had hot drinks and a slice of cake. The cakes and pastries are all deliciously hand made & are massive portions. The coffee's tasted good quality as well. The outside seating area is also nice and relaxing over looking the river Medway with country side views.
We will all be coming back to try more great food. Well done to all the staff at the horsebox bakery. 10/10 😋🍰☕👍🏻

The most insanely large and chocolatey slice of cake from here today to fuel our cycle ride. Delicious!
Also happens to be a lovely place to stop by the water, especially on such a lovely sunny day.

First time stopping at the café and so impressed. Food and drinks brilliant and both the owners spent time speaking to use. Have to make a stop on a bike ride to try more food.

Always love coming down here to grab a sausage roll and a cake, always fresh and top quality and very good selection of other pastries and cakes too.
It’s great now they’ve got the new indoor seating area for the winter, and the outdoor seating area for in the summer which is great with a nice cold drink.

The worst thing about this business is it’s only open on weekends!! Great food, lovely location, popular for families and cyclists alike, and about to celebrate their third year in business. Has become a mid ride ‘fuel stop’ and with so much choice there’s always something different to try.

Stopped here for a drink after a nice long walk .friendly and polite staff,I had the most delicious brownie and freshly made lemonade will definitely be returning

This little gem has THE best cakes you’ll find. Hannah is a truly amazing baker and always comes to say hello to us when we come here too. The location is so peaceful by the river too which really tops it all off.

We have been meaning to visit the bakery when we are in the area.
What an absolute treat. The food is excellent, the homemade lemonade is refreshing and the welcome is warm and friendly. If you haven't already, make sure you visit. You'll leave happy, with a great taste in your mouth and planning what you'll eat on your next visit.

Really luxurious sumptuous pastries pies and cakes. Not a corner cut or ingredient withheld. Lovely friendly safe service. My whole family has been regular customers for several months now and we all really look forward to the treat.

Wow, what a lovely experience I had yesterday at the Horsebox bakery. After an afternoon of kayaking on the river in the baking sun, I arrived just as the gentleman had closed and was clearing up. But he was so wonderfully kind and nothing was too much trouble for him rustling up some delicious ice cold home made lemonade and some leftover cakes. I have to say that the cake was quite possibly the best cake I have ever eaten! And to top it off he gifted the cake so it didn’t go to waste. We will be back, especially as my husband is desperate to try the pie after tasting the cake! Perfect cake and the perfect gent! What a combination!

I fell in love with their treacle cake! So, I emailed right after tasting it needing to have it for my birthday. Haha. Not only did Hannah whip up an amazing cake, Nigel delivered to right to my door. Happy Birthday To Me!!! Thank you so much!

We moved to Wateringbury around a year ago and have been ‘very’ regular visitors to the Horsebox Bakery since day one.

Super friendly people and always helpful and chatty.

The cakes, and savouries, are awesome. It’s difficult to resist temptation in buying too much.

My morning favourite has to be the Maple and Bacon pastry, then the banoffee cake. However their breakfast rolls are awesome, especially heated up for one minute with a fried egg thrown in for good measure, this combo can’t be beaten.

I like how they change the coffee regular as it’s like a mini ‘coffee club’ and you get to try some great varieties.

An excellent idea that has been delivered in the most perfect way.
Just walking up to the horsebox you get that feeling that something special is about to happen. (The sort of feeling you get at Christmas). It feels special, and you hope that its going to deliver and boy does it deliver.
The selection for such a small horsebox is immense. From savoury to sweet its covered. I dare you to visit and not find what your looking for.
Maple syrup and bacon danish... where have you been all my life?!
To top it off the service is wonderful, the location is picture perfect and the flavours are better than you can imagine.
You can even order via the wonders of technology and collect.
There has been a lot of sadness over the past 2 yrs, but with local businesses like this popping up, the future is a better place.
May the baking continue...

Stopped here whilst paddleboarding. Able to tie our paddleboards up and access the cafe . Amazing cake and coffee served by friendly staff. Will definitely be going back

Have had the absolute pleasure in being there from creation into fruition of this wonderful new business, from taste tests to regular customer, highly recommend whether you have a sweet, savoury (or like me, both) tooth.

Lucky enough to try the newest creation this week, Raspberry and chocolate cheesecake is stunning, lovely flavours that work so well together, sweet, bitter, fresh and the crunchy base, thank you for the early taste test 😊

Nigel and Hannah's cakes are simply DELICIOUS! Always a different special on offer or something new to try. Super spot by the river too with a seat to enjoy a freshly made latte, cooler or cup of tea to wash it all down 😍
