Pathé Bellecour

Pathé Bellecour is a decent cinema with comfortable seats and a good selection of films. However, the location in the heart of Lyon can make it crowded at peak times, and the prices are on the higher side. Additionally, the layout of the cinema can make it difficult to find an exit, which can be frustrating when you're trying to leave.

Tried the 4DX for the first time, good experience

Great movie theatre, huge rooms with high end equipments. Really good audio quality with the right volume. Image quality is also really good even in little rooms. Price is high though if you do not have any offer or program. You can book a specific seat ahead so it's really cool to come after the ads and ensure a good seat. Movies are available in VOST (subtitles in French) which is definitely the most important thing.

Im new at Lyon, i have not been in a movie theater since February 2020 (while living at Mexico City)...very nice experience, they follow Covid measurements, nobody manipulates the food or beverages, mask is obligatory and not many people per movie hall. In Mexico City the two big cinema complexes are always cold because of air conditioning ...Pathe Bellecour not...which i really appreciate, the publicity time is not longer than 5 minutes. The sugar popcorn was nice because is not full loaded/coated like the one i was using to eat before at my country. A totally nice and different experience. Merci :)

Great, as usual! Very king waitresses. Clean facilities. If feels very cosy and safe to watch movies in these theaters. A little like home. 😊

Multi screen cinema in the centre of Lyon. Individual screens have small number of seats so advisable to book online. Often shows top line films in original language i.e. English so a good place for visitors to Lyon who wish to take a break from seeing the many beautiful sights Lyon has.

Great place to go for a movie. The staff is very helping (since I didn't understand French) . The premises arevery nicely maintained and is clean.

It has the best location in Lyon and its interior is big and nice.
Food is however expensive but it wouldn't be Frqnce if it was cheap.
Sad that there isn't 3D-IMAX and 4DX in here.

Located at the center of the lyon, and an excellent place to watch movies. Pathe never disappoint you.

Different to many other Placed in Lyon it is easy to find movies in the original language i.e. English. Also seats can be booked in advanced which is a plus.

Good place to watch International movies. Located in the center of several restaurants. So you can watch and plan a dinner later too.

Salon 7 is big but it's not enogh cool in summer, although it's warm enough in winter.
Salon 6 is small friendly
and cool enough in summer

Best cinema in Lyon with mostly itineraries of VO (original audio) rather than VF(french audio). Always clean and sharp 👌

It's amazing. They always have movies in English or VO. A little expensive though.
