Lyon Botanical Garden

Free entry to this wonderful conservatory filled with mature tropical plants from around the world. It's only small, but nice for a quick visit.

entrance is free. Many people draw pictures of the garden here. It can be a bit disturbing while visiting the garden. Because there are many people. Apart from that, it is a beautiful botanical garden. There is another garden beyond this botanical garden. Don't forget to stop by there :)

Very tranquil and pretty. Worth it if you have an extra day while visiting Lyon.

Lovely spacious greenhouses exhibiting several tropical plants from around the world. Free to enter, and once inside there is a nice walking path around the greenhouses. I spent about 10-15 mins here, and then went on to enjoy the rest of the park

A truly stunning place with a great plant collection! Both the greenhouses and the outdoor part with succulents have a huge wow factor. Everything is so well kept and lush! One of the best botanical garden I've ever seen!
I still can't believe the entrance is free.

Lots of cool plants from all over the world, the fruit trees and coffee plants were neat to see as well as the colder room that had stuff I recognized from my area.

Wonderful. Enjoyed it so much we went twice. I imagine it is stunning all season. There is a fairly large peony section which sadly had finished blooming but there were so many vibrant areas beautifully maintained

What an amazing free attraction. It was lovely walking through all the different glass houses, I think the carnivores was my favorite.

It is incredible that such a great botanic garden is available without an entrance fee. ✨ The whole park is huge but it is well planned because there are many toilets and water taking points.

Nice place and free of charge.

What a beautiful oasis this big park offers. Very rare in big cities like Lyon: clean, diverse and lots of picknick areas. You can take a boat on the lake or walk around it. The gardens are in a very good shape and offer a big diversity of vegetation.

It’s nice, I just wish the Greenhouse would be open longer at least during the summer.

Not big fan of botanical gardens, but this one impressed me. It's quite interactive. Almost at every plant, there is a sign with short descriptions and interesting facts. Big choice of plants kept in good condition. Overall, the garden is taking care of. And moreover, entrance for free!

Beautiful Gardens! After or before chilling at the park you can go to wonder in the botanic gardens there is 5 different sections (for different climate) and many open areas with beautiful plants. From cactus to bananas trees you can find any plant you think of!
We had a very good time there.

What an amazing place. Well maintained, creative displays, and staging It is also free. The zoo also looked pretty interesting but, we didn’t spend much time there.. Easy to get to on public transportation.

Beautiful gardens, with many different species of plants and trees, inside you can visit the Zoo or you can make a trip with the boat on the lake.

It is free to get in. You need green pass and mask to visit inside. It has many pants from a lot of place around the world. It is not bad to come to visit here.

Amazing buildings, well laid out! Not sure if a wheelchair could cope? Plants well cared for and plenty of information! Some had back ground sounds to make you feel you was there! Well worth a visit!

I was very impressed by these gardens - there's an amazing range of plants which are all set out clearly with lots of information.

I also love that visitors are encouraged to relax and enjoy the plants without bikes or sports around. There's a very calming atmosphere 😊

HUGE PARK!!

This is such a beautiful place. The gardens, the animals. There are little vendors selling food and snacks and several coffee shops and restaurants. It's a beautiful place to spend the day relaxing with family friends or date.
