Went in to buy moving boxes. I found Six large boxes and got them all for around 20 euros. Very good deal. And the staff are always so pleasant and kind, not to mention helpful.

Great store!. I went there the other day and saw these Roman-style garden statues and wanted to buy them before someone else snapped them up. They seem to be made of a material that resembles alabaster and are somewhat heavy like 30 kilos and they were pretty tall for a statue – about 5 foot 2 inches. Fortunately for me, an employee was in the area and he was really helpful. His name was Ziegler. Mr. Ziegler was nice enough to put a hold on the statues while I got my VAT form, he also helped me to set up the delivery. When it came time to schedule the delivery, we realized that they would not be able to deliver to the front door due to steps and a long pathway that we have leading to our front door. We live very close by but it was going to be too difficult for me and my wife to pick up those two statues by ourselves. After he saw our concern, he spoke to his management and actually helped me to bring the statues up the steps to our front door! I have never seen this type of customer service. What I really appreciated is he genuinely wanted to help out. I tried to pay him what I would have paid the delivery service but he wouldn’t take it. I even insisted but he refused to take any money. Anyway he definitely deserves kudos for all he did. I’ll definitely keep shopping at that store.

Great shop with varieties of supplies. Very helpful staff, its my favourite store. Just don't order online! Terrible experience with online orders but this specific branch is great

Massive. They were recommended by some other hardware store and I was told they have everything. He said something like. If they don't have it, then go online. Don't bother with another store

My favorite place in Kaiserslautern!!! They have everything you need for big projects, great customer service and great selection of plants. Finally, a place that has a good taste in their flower selection. If you want to buy german tools, this is the place. Great prices and it is well-organized. We loved it!

Guys. You don’t understand how much this store made my dog happy. We left Germany 10 years ago and bought 4 of this certain dog toy when we left. We have been back a few months and couldn’t find the thing anywhere. Well here comes HORNBACH and guess what. They have them. We bought all of them so they don’t have them here anymore. She was so excited to see her favorite toy again. Just hope she has enough time left to lose them. Plus this place is cool and has everything you need.

Great hardware store. I was pleased with the staff and their willingness to help me. They have a wonderful aquarium section and a good outdoor plant selection.

Compared to some places in the States this place rocks! The staff is present and helpful. I purchased something and it did not work...the exchange process was simple and friendly! Wake up HD...and learn from the Germans.

Take VAT forms. Speak English. Best place to get pet food and all home repair items
