Nick's Southern Fried Chicken & Ribs

Great fired chicken! I would like to see more sauce options other than BBQ, Sweet and Sour, and Tobacco, but overall great fried chicken!

I wanted to leave Germany and never come back, but after tasting these tantalizing chicken sammies , it single handedly convinced me to stay ......they changed my life , one bite and it paints a tapestry of flavors that you just have to try for yourself, I would easily say :::drumrolls::: this rivals chik-fil-a and possibly Surpasses them .... finger licking good it makes you wanna slap yo momma , good price too

The chicken was crispy from the outside, juicy from the inside and had a good seasoning. Although I wouldn't call it spicy, it was really delicious. The fries were nicely salted and perfectly cooked. Their service was efficient and "average friendly" to the German standards. It was also clean and cozy enough to sit down for a quick dinner instead of just picking up some takeaway. Cannot complain much, it was great value for money.

Delicious food. It's infinitely better than KFC. We drive about an hour from Völklingen just to have flavorful spicy yum yums. People here are so kind. Very chill environment.

I enjoy the spicy chicken sandwich meal here. The food is cooked to order and has been good each time I've eaten here.

They have good flavor and the portion are okay. The space at the restaurant is good they also have “to go” parking is limited sometimes depending the time. More parking around.

The service is really fast so that I don't need to wait for so long. The chicken taste quite good.

I love Nicks. I have been going there since 1994. Best chicken sandwich ever. Better than Popeyes or KFC. Cole slaw is the best.

Me and my go-Karting group came here about a week ago to get lunch and they handled two vans full of people ordering chicken quite easily. I got my order super fast and so did everyone else. It was so good and the breading on the chicken is really nice. 👌 good restaurant IMO

The chicken was quite good. I found it somewhat amusing that I was visiting Kaiserslautern from the South in the US... and we went to a southern fried chicken restaurant. It was pretty good though.

We've been going to Nicks for years now and it is consistently excellent. The chicken sandwich is great, mashed potatoes and gravy delicious and the chicken itself is always fresh and tasty without being too greasy. Also really like the macaroni salad.

I have never tasted fried chicken so good and fresh. The fries were decent and the coleslaw a bit too sweet , but damn the chicken!! So good! Going back again soon 😇 Also special offers on Tuesdays.

We love the chicken here!! This is the one place that comes to mind when we want fried chicken. The hot wings are our absolute favorite. They have daily specials from Monday to Thursday I believe and they have some other good items on their menu like ribs and sandwiches. Will miss this place when we leave.

Nick’s chicken is excellent! I got the spicy flavor, reminiscent of the sailorman’s Louisiana style—tasty, tender, hot/spicy plus served fresh hot/temp. Totally satisfying meal, blows the nearby chain chicken place out of the water. Modest selection of bottled beverages, a couple beer brands and soft drinks around grocery price, not bar price. Lightning quick service. Attractive interior style with pictures of cars and city scenes, granite tabletops, chrome chairs, glass storefront. Bright, clean and tidy family place.

The best fried chicken I've had so far in Germany. I got the chicken strips on accident and even though they are breast meat they are super moist. I always think about getting the ribs but when I get there I always get chicken because it is soooo good.
