My kids had an amazing time at this Zoo, it's pretty small zoo, but enough for few hours of walking around, feeding the animals and play at the park.
Having picnic in this place is nice as well.
I highly recommend this if you are in the kmc area and have small children.

This is not the San Diego or Dallas Zoo. It's a small zoo in Kaiserslautern. But, if you have a little time and want to entertain the kids, this is a really cool little zoo with plenty to see and do. The play area is very nice as well, not to mention the food is very good and the prices are certainly very reasonable. I mean, the food is not exactly on a Michelin Star level, but it is pretty amazing for a small zoo. But where in Germany, really, do they serve bad food? In all, this was a very enjoyable experience.

I’ve been to many zoos in my life, but never did a zoo visit feel so immersive. Walking through this zoo is peaceful, it’s evident the keepers truly love the animals and we were able to be closer to animals typically kept in difficult -to-see enclosures. The birds of prey exhibit was by far my favorite! My family and I were appreciative of the conversation with the keeper who educated us on the bird breeds, how they hunt and how they are cared for. Highly recommend sticking around for the demo!!

This small zoo offers a variety of animals and reptiles to observe. You can enter an enclosure and pet the lemur. There is a nice walking path in the area as well.

Wonderful place to spend an afternoon. I came here with my three kids aged 5,3, and 1.5 years, pushing a double stroller and wearing the baby.

Prices were very reasonable and there was a lot to do and see. I suggest buying animal food up front as it was difficult to get out of the little vending machines. There were multiple animals to feed and multiple places to feel close to the animals (namely the sloths and lemurs). Several playgrounds throughout which were good even per Germany standards (way better than US playgrounds!). There is a cafe with food and ice cream near the start. Lots of shaded areas and picnic benches and bathrooms. No difficulties with the stroller at any point.

Excellent little zoo in the heart of Siegelbach. Bring your cash—they don’t accept cards. There’s an ATM down the street if you have a European account. You can see the place in about 2 hours, and find ways to stretch your time there to 3 hours. There is dedicated free parking along a shaded walkway that takes you to the entrance. From there, an intuitive path takes you up close to the animals. The exhibits are interesting with a variety of animals. As you circle the loop, you come back to where you started and that’s it. There’s a reptile and small mammal house. There’s an aviary, African animals, farm animals, and a lot in between. Bring your food and snacks too. There’s several playgrounds for kids weary of just walking and learning. Also plenty of room for parents to rest. If you’re in Kaiserslautern or just visiting, this small zoo offers an easy, affordable way to spend an afternoon outside without overcommitting all your time. I recommend seeing it.

We had the best time. Wr have been to many zoos and I love how this one is so open and free for the animals. The animals don't seem depressed or angry. It was so wonderful to be able to walk through open habits and the free range sloths stoll my heart ❤ The play areas were next level. We loved the water play and the huge slide for bigger kids. There was a wonderful eating area and a restaurant for grab and go food.

Great place to visit with kids. We really enjoyed our first visit here and highly recommend the bird show. Very informative and the birds fly over everyone so really interesting. They allow you to pat the birds for a small donation. Really good experience for a couple of hours-we wish we had more time. Suitable for all ages. I was really grateful for many of the signs to be in English as well as German as this helped me learn some more German as I read the German to my husband's German godchild but could read the English too and teach her that you can pay 1€ extra for a bag of feed for some animals which was fun. Really enjoyable.

Located near so many trails. We took our pupper, any inclosed area dogs were not allowed. Lots of feeding options. Petting zoo for the kiddos. Have feedings you can watch, we arrived to see them feed the otters. Our main reason to go was for the reptiles.

A small zoo but the habitats are set up in a way that you can get quite close to the animals. There is a nice playground area and a small cafe. Very good spot to spend a few hours with the family!

Super cute zoo!! The petting zoo part was fantastic! The animals are clearly cared for and happy! Wish they had a credit card machine so I didn’t have to pay my ticket in change though haha

A small but well maintained zoo. We enjoyed a few hours visiting there, highlights were feeding baby deer and alpacas, hunting for the sloth in the tropical house and walking in the lemur enclosure. I had a birthday party for my daughter there 2 years ago and it was ace. She is a snail fan and they let her and her friends hold a giant snail as well as some other critters. It was very reasonably priced, tour guide was speaking English and the kids had a blast.

The Zoo in Kaiserslaughtern provided a humanely clean environment with plenty of animals to explore, along with picnic tables, benches, snack bar, trails, and more.

Friendly for all persons.

We went early in the morning and there was barely anyone else there. It's not super big only about 15-20 different exhibits, but definitely worth going.
