I highly recommend coming here especially on a nice evening! It sits direct on the Rhein River! You can sit out on the tables in front of the restaurant. The food is very good, we had Sauerbraten that came with red cabbage and dumplings, incredible!! The salad was also really good! The Kolsch bier is so tasty and a local treat! The service is awesome! The atomosphere is relaxed and fun.
I would not miss this place to eat, because I was so happy to eat here!

Was visiting Cologne for the day from Amsterdam on 6 January on my first trip abroad with my partner. We were looking for somewhere to try currywurst on recommendation from my auntie, and stopped here before catching a train back. Lovely, and the roast potatoes were lovely too! We had some time so decided to try some appelstrudel which was also very good. Staff were friendly toward us and English was very good.

One of the best pork knuckles ever! Tender tasty pork wrapped in crispy crackling, amazing flavours. If you can fit it in, the apple strudel with vanilla custard and ice cream is delicious. It's a great spot to eat down by the river. The service is great and the food is excellent. It also has a pretty good selection of beer and other drinks.

Good, sweet, fruity currywurst. Might be a bit spicy if you aren't used to mild-medium curry. Great view of the Rhine and waterfront. Good service.

The Ibaiama pork was glorious, tender with plenty of flavour, and the steak was juicy and flavourful while being crispy on the outside. Pan fried potato accompanying the dishes were perfect and full of flavour. Draught beer was very nice too. The servers were a bit absent when we were ordering but overall service was good.

We wanted authentic Cologne food and found it here. Very tasty food, I absolutely loved the desert, very friendly and warm atmosphere. Will definitely come again :-)

Really enjoyed this place. Good beer and great food, and inexpensive as well. Stayed overnight right down the road prior to heading to Oktoberfest. Would definitely recommend sitting outside if possible, great views of the Rhine while you enjoy good company

Great flavor on all the dishes! We had the Salat Tagliata, the schnitzel, and the Kanzler Filet, all cooked perfectly with great flavor! Fast, friendly service, will come again!

Of the three nights I was in Cologne, I had Supper here twice. It's really good.

The last time I visited the Ex-Vertretung must have been years ago. I was back in Cologne so I wanted to give it a try again. The food is still great, good service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I stopped in for beer and dinner. I sat myself outside on a great evening for people watching. The Haxe I had was fantastic, the beer was good, and the refills came quickly.

Reasonably priced for what it was, I'd definitely come here again.

Very good food, options of dining inside and outside for the time being. Lots of history on the walls in form of pictures of many state leaders during meetings. Even Willy Brandt and Breshnev at a bad hair day

Fun place in Martinswinkel near the Rhine. Nice outdoor seating area, good for enjoying a cold kölsch and people watching. I can recommend the schnitzel. And the strongest Irish coffee I’ve ever had

Good food, friendly efficient service, reasonable prices. The goulash soup is good and tasty, I recommend you try.

Found this whilst looking for a riverside restaurant. Splendid atmosphere including a group of OAP buskers! Good enough for us to go back the following evening. Just a great way to spend a hot summer evening.
