St. Kunibert is one of the twelve Romanesque basilicas of Cologne. It is located near the Rhine in the northern old town. The three-aisled church building is Cologne's youngest among the large Romanesque churches and has the most impressive silhouette in the city panorama north of the gothic Cologne Cathedral. The late date of their construction is likely to be the cause of their very self-contained and rich design.

Cool ancient roman-gothic architecture, strange sculptures. Didn't get inside.

Кто такой Святой Куниберт?
Куниберт, как 10 епископ Кёльна, открыл Мощи Святой Урсулы. Он помогал бедным и больным, создал монастырь. И по трудам своим был удостоен лика Святого.
А теперь о Церкви:
Церковь привлекает своей простотой и строгостью. Тут не встретишь пышности и вычурности Собора, но прочитав о жизни Святого Куниберта понимаешь отчего так. Аскетизм и Послушание - вот девиз Храма. Строгость и Духовная Чистота - не просто поправила, но сама жизнь. Но вот над всем этим господствует Любовь. И это понимание приходит только в молельни под Алтарем, где старые стены вобрали в себя всё это. Проверьте себя и Вы там. Полезно.

Sehr schöne Kirche. Besonders die Kunst darin und die traurige Geschichte der Kirche sind einen Besuch wert.
Bis jetzt bin ich immer nur in den Dom gegangen, aber Köln hat viele weitere Kirchen, die man besichtigen kann.
Besonders spannend finde ich, dass die Kirche zwar St. Kunibert heißt aber ursprünglich zu Ehren St. Clemens errichtet wurde. Dies fällt besonders an der inneren Eingangstür auf, wo die Legende abgebildet ist.

Schöne Basilika im romanischen Stil.
Einfach eine Oase der Ruhe. Tolle Fenster und herrliche Gewölbe. Eine gelungene ruhige Außenanlage lädt noch zum verweilen ein. Ein Besuch dorthin lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. 👍

Eine sehr schöne Kirche. Ich war hin und weg gewesen. Sehr lehrreich und interessant die Geschichte der Kirche.

La basilica de San Cuniberto fue nombrada basilica menor en 1998. Está declarada monumento del patrimonio arquitectónico de Renania del Norte-Westfalia. Es la última de las 12 grandes basílicas de estilo románico de la ciudad de Colonia, construida entre 11210 y 1226. Su consagración se produjo en 1247, un año antes del comienzo de la construcción de la catedral de Colonia. Llama la atención su luminosidad. El órgano es de 1993.

Besuche immer wieder gern diese helle Kirche.

Imposante romanische Kirche, die im 2. WK teilzerstört wurde. Vielschichtige Kunst im gesamten Kirchenraum. Aktuell bis zum 22.02.2023 ist hier die sehr sehenswerte Ausstellung "Reine Formen. Romanische Kirchen in Köln" mit Gemälden des Künstlers Alexander Dettmar zu besichtigen. Zu der Ausstellung ist ein hochwertiger Katalog erschienen. Dank hierfür an den Förderverein "Romanische Kirchen Köln e.V.".
