Playa De Bocagrande

I really enjoyed this beach. The sand was a bit "dirtier" than a white beach (of course), but my friend and I found a lot of shells. The water was nice and if you walked down the beach, it was much less busy. There was some construction going on but it didn't ruin my experience too much. Conveniently, there was a mall right across the street , so that was a beautiful, air-conditioned escape after our beach day.

Local salespeople is very problem...... They are very disturbing....
Because of these, I will not lower the score of this beautiful beach... And I don't know the system, but I wish the management would prevent these and establish a more orderly and safe system.

Totally in love one of the best beaches I've been to in a while and I was born and raised near beaches! The water is the perfect temperature and absolutely clear. There was no tiny fish, no Portuguese man o water or jellyfish, no seaweed, no trash - just absolutely delicious clear and clean water. The waves are pretty big if you're expecting a calm beach you won't find that hear but if you love waves as much as I do this is your place. You can rent jet skis, chairs, umbrellas you'll even have your personal errand runner they'll get you beer and whatever else you want to eat or drink at the beach. Please watch out for the vendors and dont leave your things unsupervised. Some of the vendors will cause food poisoning also the ladies offering to do massages and braids they're a scam dont fall for it. As well as the temporary tattoos it's going to fall off. However, if you take the correct precautions this beach is paradise.

This is one of the most famous beaches in Cartagena, therefore it will be mostly crowded and super windy. Because of that, you will feel many waves.
Be careful for all the people selling stuff because sometimes they can over prize the stuff just to earn a little bit more of money

The beach is reasonably clean, the folks working the beaches are great to haggle and mingle with, there’s fresh fish, drinks, beer, and anything else you might need, and the hot humid weather is great for the beach. The sales can be a bit aggressive but it’s all part of the deal.

My favorite beach in Cartagena,a lot of people who are selling different stuff,but they are super nice as well. Very safe and great drinks there!!!!

Blue sky, warm water, crabs escaping through stones...

I love the beach here. The water was so warm and the sun shined so bright. There are constant vendors coming through but if you tell them no thank they'll leave you alone for the most part. Most importantly do not get got by the lady who do massages. Once they start they dont stop be tell them no a little more harshly. Other than that a great experience.

What a little oasis in the middle of the beautiful Manga district. A very friendly and welcoming place that makes you feel like you're a million miles from a city when inside. Staff and management are really friendly. It has everything you need for a shirt or long stay. Safe, secure and was especially great for our young kids. Very close to everything yet away from all the hassle of the more touristy spots. Supermarket within 2 mins walk away and add a few more minutes to the beautiful foreshore and restaurants.

Nice place for relax from travelling for an hour. Some street venders pass by, they have to earn their money, too. Massages are ok.

check out Hollywood Beach on the west end on the beach for the best sunset views and the hottest girls.

Great beach. Pedestrians most willing to help. Do not buy anything without asking the price first. Do not believe in detallitos o free things.

Had great time the women there offering massage was very persistent lol. Overall great time

Good local beach dark sand and water though if you want the blue water it is a short boat ride away.
