Hyatt Regency Cartagena

Swimming pools were excellent 3 separate, 2 good for swimming, all areas of hotel were very clean & staff were polite, smiling & happy to help.

The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable, we opted for the 1 bedroom Residence on 41st floor which had a large fridge, balcony with amazing bay views spectacular day and night.

The Residence rooms have a different elevator which is always available.

We did not take breakfast with the room however we ate breakfast twice it was a huge spread & good value for money.

The air conditioning in the bedroom was quite noisy.

There was construction work ongoing on the main restaurant that did not affect our experience at all.

This hotel is absolutely fabulous! The amenities are stunning, the service was great, perhaps a little slow at the pool but nothing to complain about. I found the room spacious and well kept. The location is great if you want to be close to the beach, with a great view. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

The 3 of us had a nice 2-day stay as our entry point to Colombia around Christmas. The service at this Hyatt was fantastic, as every associate was super friendly and ready to help out at any moment.

We got upgraded to a large corner room, the pools were fun, but the executive club lounge was the key selling point. Decent breakfast in the morning, great coffee all day and the 4-6pm happy hour each day was well appointed. There’s lots of room to spread out, so even when it got busy, it still was relaxing.

We didn’t go to the restaurant on site, but it’s supposed to be very, very good.

The gym was modern and clean.

One additional note: Ubers are super easy to get here, and it’s only 5-7 minutes to get to the old town. Definitely encourage you to check this hotel out if you head this way!

My Family and I went in January for Vacation and we would absolutely come again. The Hotel was very clean, the food was delicious and the best thing there was the staff. The whole Team was very very friendly, happy, helpful and motivated. It felt like a little Family. Thank you to Génesis, Alessandro, Luis, Carlos and the whole team for this amazing time and experience.

Great service, clean and comfortable rooms! I was only there a few hours before my flight back to the States, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Simply put, life is better at the Hyatt Regency Cartagena. Views, food, staff, rooms & location are second to none! Did I say pools.... multiple pools and what I really liked they were not super packed which is probably due to having a few. All due respect to Cartagena, or am I in Miami? Haha just kidding but with such amazing views it could confuse you for a moment. I think I could have stayed in the pool and not even toured the city the hotel was that amazing. From the location to the customer service everything here was great! Right on the beach and only a short drive to the walled city and marina(for boat excursions). The rooms were clean and modern. Onsite bar and restaurant. Enjoyed my stay here would book again.

This is a very well-run hotel with sharp and friendly staff, beautiful facilities and lovely views. Naiver helped me immeasurably during my stay. It's a great way to become acquainted with the culture of Cartagena, very close to party central (the old city and Getsemani) but not right in the middle of it. I will absolutely stay here again.

The pools are massive and good.

The place to relax and have food is amazing too, it gets the best of the ocean and the bay.

This was one of the best hotels I encountered in Columbia. They were just amazing and they are definitely a five star hotel. I would recommend, and I would visit again.

Best hotel in Cartagena in my opinion. Infinity pool. Security and doorman at all times. Next to mall and supermarket. Walkable to restaurants.

Enjoyed my stay here. Unfortunately, this place is probably the only good thing about Cartagena. The beach is annoying with vendors harassing you every 30 seconds. Restaurants are just OK around the area. I would only come back to this city and stay in this hotel. There is nothing in Cartagena that appeals to me except for this hotel.

Absolutely perfect. Simply the best in Boca Grande cartegena. Five minute taxi ride to historic town. Buffet was great worth the money. Pools are nice and jim is excellent

The best hotel we stayed at during our 11 day visit to Colombia. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The lobby is on the 12th floor. So you take 1 elevator to the lobby and a 2nd one to the rooms. Very good breakfast overlooking the Sea.

The rooms are modern and very spacious. Very friendly staff.

Incredible hotel, even better if you have Hyatt status. They have a separate check in area and lounge for globalists and the concierge there feels so personal and tends to any questions and requests. If you meet Isabel you will be well taken care of! Located in Bocadera which is a 4-6USD uber ride away from downtown but so quiet compared the rowdy Centro. The views on the rooftop poolS (there's 3) are immaculate perfect for sunset everyday!
