Hotel Capilla del Mar

The rooms are lovely, large, and have a great view! The location was perfect and the breakfast had a lot of options. The omelet bar was delicious and fast. The customer service at the hotel is 100/10 and they helped me recover a lost item.

The only downside was that one of the beaches nearby was under construction, but the other public beach next door was open.

This hotel is amazing. The staff, facilities and the atmosphere are divine. The food at breakfast is good and the beds are so comfy. This hotel is a must if you want to have a fabulous time while in bocagrande. Only downside was the hotel is a little secluded from the local eateries.

Walk ability: In front of the beach and nearby all nice restaurants and bars.

The service a Capilla impeccable. From the concierge, to the bellhops, to housekeeping and the pool staff we received friendly greetings and 5 star service. Inside of the hotel is quiet but the street below can be festive at night. The beach across the street is under construction but if you walk further up the street you can gain beach access. The sunset view every night was top tier. The rooms are nice but the balconies can use some design work in terms of furniture but that's very minor when considering the rest of the attribute.

Amazing hotel recently upgraded, clean, good location. They had construction right outside of the hotel but we stayed at 17 floor so it was not bad regarding noise. Highly recommend. Junior suite is well worth it.

Hotel & staff were impressive and accommodating, I was diappointed with the surroundings leading to the hotel. One would think that Cartagena would clean up the area, the first impression. Next to the Hotel is an abandoned hotel, a real eyesore for the area. Although the hotel gets high rating, the city of Cartagena can do better and follow tge example if Medellin, lots of security, clean streets, curbs, sidewalks. I traveled to Colombia to see Cartagena, instead came home with wonderful memories of Medellin.

Love this hotel! Our flights getting here were delayed twice when we finally got here we were taken care of above and beyond! The room was exactly what we reserved roof top pool and beautiful sunset made all the bad flights disappear

Very nice Hotel. We have booked 2 rooms, the view was wonderful, the rooms were very clean, the breakfast was rich and delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful specially Cristian the concierge who organised for us a wonderful beach day in Baru. Thank you for everything and see you in 2023. 😁

Loved this stay, staff is fantastic and the rooms are huge. Nice location as well although I would have probably preferred to be a little closer to the action in the Old City it's about a 15 min cab ride

The hotel is located right in the center of Bocagrande, there are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, cafeterias, banks etc, the hotel has its place on the beach, and a pool on the 21st floor, although small, is very nice. The hotel is not new, but it is very nice, the rooms are big and clean, the bathroom is also good spacious. we have a more or less decent wifi. The most important thing is the people, they are very friendly. I will surely come back to this hotel.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location across the street from the beach with many restaurants, shops & a 24 hour pharmacy/convenience store close by. We had a beautiful balcony suite on an upper floor with an amazing view for 11 days. The staff was friendly & efficient. Got an unexpected great deal on breakfast which was nice every morning. Could use some lounge chairs on the beach, but the hotel has its own area with white plastic chairs & tables with umbrellas & security that can watch your stuff while you're swimming or walking. Not the hotel's fault, but the beach & street merchants here are extremely annoying, constantly, unashamedly interrupting any conversation you try to have & staying in your face & personal space no matter have much you say "no" & tell them to get lost. So forget dozing off on this beach. Most of these folks would end up arrested for assault or would acquire a black eye in the U.S.! It's that bad & I'm a big, strong guy. My Colombian girlfriend doesn't understand why it bothers me so much. Definitely a cultural difference...

I love this hotel! The staff is really nice, and very friendly. At the front desk Jennifer was super kind, and while we enjoyed our time at the beach Giseth was very helpful with what ever we needed. Every employee in the hotel always seemed happy and were always smiling. Nice location & super clean. I would go back any time.

Nice hotel, nice breakfast and kind staff. Rooms are confortables and pretty new. Cleaning is perfect.

Street noise at night is a little loud, specially during weekends.

Beautiful hotel! It was the perfect place to stay, and the location could have not been better. The staff was superb. The food was... DELICIOUS. It was my personal favorite amenity there. The rooms were in peccable and it got serviced in a detailed manner. It was a great time coming to rest at a clean hotel after a day of enjoying one of Colombia’s most beautiful beaches.

The rooms are nice and clean with beautiful ocean view. We loved the location but not the Beach. The buffet was good.
