We went here for our last night in Cartagena and it was AMAZING! The food was so delicious and cooked just right. There was also live music that made the evening more lively yet calming at the same time. We went on a day that was not very busy, so the service was very fast. I recommend coming here. This was our favorite restaurant in Cartagena and if you can, I definitely recommend coming.

In light of writing several reviews, but this being Cartagena... food was awesome. No synonyms needed. I was supposed to meet someone but they didn't show up. Their loss. Decent wine selection, but the wines they had were very good. Food was excellent. Service was great, they even add a little something if you're on a date...

I found myself in this amazing restaurant by the mere chance of talking to someone on the street who was offering something else, but I told him I’m hungry so he legit escorted me to Palo Santo and told me it’s the best food. Ohmygoodness, he was not lying. Bible, the best welcome dish to Cartagena. Definitely go in, amazing service and food is just unholy.

We came to this place through Carlos and Marcela that run Guided tour and five star traditional dinner. We had an excellent time. There was live music, the food was great and the service was outstanding

We had an amazing dinner at Palo Santo. We got a bottle of malbec, shared the fish of the day plato and the maracuyá dessert. The musician was phenomenal as well. 100% would recommend for anyone!

The food was delicious. My very picky teenagers enjoyed traditional Cartagenian food. Lovely atmosphere; the live music was excellent. The restaurant is located in a colonial bulding at least 3-4 hundred years old inside the walled city, which is inside the city fortress. I must say that the service was outstanding. Excellet choice for a traditional dinning experience.

Magic birthday night with my beautiful girlfriend, no doubt my best choice. Highly recommended for special occasions and formal dinner.

Delicious food, great place, offers a singer too

If a restaurant is empty I tend to pass it by but in this case, I am glad I didn’t. During my entire meal from 6:30-7:30 on a Thursday evening, I was their only customer. I can only assume it is because of the lack of foot traffic in their location. The food was excellent! The atmosphere is somewhat upscale but still chill. I started with a fish ceviche. It was a delicately flavored traditional preparation but perfectly executed. It had crunchy corn- something I developed a love for in Peruvian ceviche. My second dish was described as Cartagena’s traditional cheese soup. I have never had anything quite like it but I would describe it as a potato and cheese soup. That really doesn’t do it justice because I don’t even know if potatoes are in it and like the ceviche, the flavors were delicate. I would say this is a perfect spot for just after watching the sunset.
