Hotel Bahia Cartagena

When I go back to Cartagena, I am going to lodge in this hotel again. Daniel, the security guard, was very kind and helpful to my family and I since we stepped a foot into the hotel. He carried out bags to our respective bedrooms. Of course, I tipped him for his help. Despite he is not a tipped employee, he and others who work like him will appreciate you sparing them a few dollars like I did for him. The front desk gals were all very kind and helpful to us as well. They make you feel like you really arrived to Colombia where you are supposed to be at the moment. Their Caribbean-style hospitality could be only outperformed by the complementary breakfast next morning. You could really enjoy a real costeño meal included in what you pay for your room. I really enjoyed eating Arepa de Huevo and Huevos Pericos for my first meal in the morning. Orange juice, fresh fruit and coffee were just the cherry on top. You can enjoy your breakfast either inside their indoor cafeteria or outside under the shack by the swimming pool. The rooms are spacious. Mine had a king-sized bed and another full-sized bed. Just make sure the mini fridge of your bedroom is connected to the wall outlet as you first walk inside of it. You never know when you are going to want to buy beer or something to eat at the 24-hour Carulla supermarket like I did. I really loved my stay at Hotel Bahia. Nice. Comfortable. Affordable. Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is delicious. The wi-fi is super fast and A/C works well. If you are planning a trip to Cartagena stay at this hotel.

Near to beach, great service, have a professional staff. Haven't a lot of options at breakfast, but it's good.

Hotel antigo, porém muito limpo, bom atendimento dos funcionários e uma piscina bem legal. Próximo ao restaurante vc encontra um mercado de artesanato locais( com bons preços) e uma variedade de restaurantes.

El hotel está situado en una zona privilegiada. Destaca su decoración art deco con obras pintoricas originales.La cocina exquisita y el personal de diez. Muy recomendable

Fui muy prevenida porque leí malos comentarios, pero no pueden estar mas lejos de la realidad, o por lo menos de la realidad de mi estadía en Semana Santa del año 2023. Me encantó sobre todo la limpieza de las habitaciones. Los baños muy limpios, cama cómoda y las áreas comunes muy limpias. El baño de la zona húmeda súper limpio también. Habitación muy bien climatizada. Me gustó la cantidad y sazón de los desayunos y cenas que tuve incluido en mi alojamiento, el almuerzo a la carta no me gustó mucho. El servicio muy bueno y excelente ubicación, a tan solo 3 cuadras de la playa. Excelente relación precio-servicio. Volvería a este hotel si regreso a Cartagena.
