Plaza de Santa Teresa

Just been in Cartagena Columbia what a beautiful place, the old town and colonial buildings are breath taking, a lot of vendors and beggars, not many foreign exchanges so bring dollars or local currency. Dont go off the beaten track there are a lot of poor people that would do anything for a few dollars

A traditional place, touristic and $$$, you can find original items and food places, and know many historical areas, an strong Spanish influence, good to spend time and money.

Check this out: this is one of those that you must check out at 3 different times - 1.morning .. you will get their day view and enjoy amazing food around. 2.sunset - you will get an amazing view from the top of the wall .. 3.night time .. it’s an entire different place at night. It gets crowded at times, so a few suggestions: comfy shoes (don’t try to be fashion, you are at the beach... 2.avoid backpacks if possible. 3.carry cash, it’s easier. 4.avoid bringing your documents around. All you need is 1 valid ID if you are planing to drink around...(if they even ask)

This plaza probably has the best market in the central district. Many vendors take credit cards too. Probably my most favorite market overall. Great views from the wall nearby. Restaurants are all around. It's a lively area.

A very good place to hang out feeling free, listening music and smail one each other while you are walking down street. You will love it, do not forget to taste Aguaro!
