Zehrs Clairfield

This is an AMAZING Zehrs, particularly Shiv. He has gone out of his way many times to help me and my friends. He always smiles at us. He has gone out of his way to help my roomate on crutches to bring her groceries to the car with an umbrella. Overall, a great store! Would totally recommend going to this store.

Great prices and deals! People say it's more expensive than other places but I totally disagree. The cleanliness is very good, they only hire beautiful girls which I think is great 👋

They have everything you need at a competitive price. The shop layout is nice and spacious and they had plenty of flowers when it was Valentine’s Day! So I am glad they stocked up extra.

They had so much on the shelves that my local Zehrs , Eramosa Rd., either doesn't stock or is constantly out of . The bakery was a big surprise though. A very miniscule section for fresh donuts 🍩 and fresh pastry to pick your own.
Seeing as it is the newest and serves a large area, I was disappointed in the sizes of the departments sizes. The quality and cleanliness was excellent.

Nicely kept and clean, it was easy to locate what was needed. A nice choice of fresh bakes breads and rolls was a happy find. The fresh fruit and vegetables were well cared for and nicely stacked, making it more appealing. The one question raised of a staff member was quickly and correctly answered. Checkout was swift.

Needed a unique and last minute cake decoration idea done. Grace accommodated our requests and didn't hesitate to do everything she could to make it perfect!!

Always get great service... particularly from a young man named Cris, who seems to work nights in the meat department (he wears glasses) and a boy named Mitchell in the deli. Both are always very helpful and courteous.

For what we want there's always has a very good selection their produce section is pretty fresh, all in all shopping there is pleasant. We can usually get everything we want at a reasonable price. Often they run some sales which seem to be manager specials outside of what is advertised in the brochures. We like that

The butcher at this store is so nice and friendly. I'll go back just becuase of him. Give that man a raise. Great clean store.

Great prices. Always rolling sales and fresh salads and watermelon for me please. The kid serving chicken pieces was really nice and helpful as I don’t usually get anything from there. Find myself picking Zehrs over food basics simply because of the overall experience.

I work in Guelph and this store in one my way to work and back home in Toronto. The overall range of products seems to be less than comparable stores in the GTA, but that doesn't matter to me because the fruits and vegetable as well as the bakery sections have a really well stocked.

The place is never too busy, and the staff seem nice as per the people of Guelph in general.

The only flaw is that immediate store parking is fairly limited, even though the store itself is part of a plaza.

Zehrs set up thru the isles is one of the best. I go there for my meat selections . As for grocery stores and meat selection.. they rank with 3 other top grocers very well if not a bit better.. the S store woukd be comparable there. The big L store.. I'm usually disapointed with the meat.. only draw back here for me at least at Zehrs is thier lack of assorted salads pre pared .. the big S has a better selection.. that would be about the only negative perspective I'd have here.
I'd like to add a negative comment on one product they carry.. it's the prepared chilli in a plastic container.. it was absolutely horrible and wasted the whole amount.. it tasted like burned whatever and the beans were hard

Lovely store, with great people. I've shopped here many times with my Mum and the staff has always been attentive and kind if Mum ever needed anything. Today she needed a place to sit and rest and some water and everyone was helpful and watchful while I finished getting her groceries.
On a separate occasion, an employee overheard Mum saying she was getting tired and they immediately opened another till so we could check out and be on our way asap.

This Zehrs store is very well organized, stocked and clean.
The vegetables and fruits are very fresh and the meat section is just awesome.
Fully recommended for your household groceries shopping

This is not the best or biggest Zehrs in town but I usually find everything I need and don't have to wait on line.

The Hartsland one is better for its bakery but this one is good enough.

They also have 3 self checkouts if you prefer that over a cashier.

Very friendly staff and a smaller store format with emphasis on food stuffs rather than clothing items. While I don't despise the much larger formats like Paisely Road, this has a more personable and neighbourhood feel. If they can get paired with the proposed Mobil station in 2019, it will certainly be a one-stop opportunity.

We stop here for lunch from time to time...the picnic tables are in the shade...always a friendly experience...the staff are always smiling😊

I love getting the 50% off deals on reduced items. Keeps grocery shopping interesting and it's nice to see a big store making a great effort to reduce food waste. Friendly staff, clean store, great selection.
