Shopping at Home Depot was a positive experience overall. Upon entering the store, the layout was organized and easy to navigate, with clear signage directing me to various sections. The aisles were spacious, allowing for comfortable browsing without feeling crowded. The staff were readily available and helpful when I needed assistance locating items or had questions about products.

The selection of merchandise was extensive, covering everything from tools and hardware to appliances and home decor. Whether I was looking for a specific item or simply browsing for inspiration, there was plenty to choose from. The quality of the products appeared to be high, with reputable brands available alongside more budget-friendly options.

The checkout process was efficient, with multiple registers open to accommodate customers. I appreciated the option to use self-checkout for smaller purchases, which helped expedite the process during busy times. Additionally, the staff at the checkout were friendly and courteous, enhancing the overall shopping experience.

One aspect that could be improved is the availability of staff in certain departments, as I had to wait a bit longer for assistance in the garden center. However, once a staff member was available, they were knowledgeable and helpful.

Overall, my experience shopping at Home Depot was good, and I would not hesitate to return for future home improvement needs.

Amazing customer experience. Just rented out a carpet cleaner from an employee named Curtis and he was great. He was extremely thorough with how to use the machine and was even responsive to my dad’s unfunny jokes. Great guy, really kind. Same goes for my experiences with other employees.

Massive Home Depot with almost everything you could need. Ridiculously friendly staff (I’m talking everyone will say hi to you, cult vibes type of thing). Everyone we spoke with was super helpful, and we came for paint, a light, and a few odds and ends, and we were able to find them quickly.

Amazing customer service and help, was building my first shed, no clue what i was looking for all i had was the instructions that came with the shed, and they helped me find everything i needed and even helped me cut what u needed to the perfect size

Good location and very large inside. My only gripe would be the parking spaces. Not many and very tight for a bigger store. It would be very tough for larger vehicles to load materials and equipment if parked at the front near other cars. It’s not as spacious as Costco’s lot per se.

Other than that the staff is helpful, nice and will be more than happy to answer any questions. I had a hard time locating something and they showed me the way.

Isles are clean and lots of room to maneuver.

Every single staff member at this home depot is extremely friendly. Every time I visit every single staff you pass greets you and makes sure you are finding what you are looking for.

Not sure if it's really good management and training of customer service or if having just moved to Guelph everyone here is just very nice haha.

Sudais helped me locate something in the outdoor garden center and went above and beyond- waiting while I made my selection and going back for something else when I changed my mind. He was patient, friendly and all around helpful. Great employee. I find everyone at this store to be helpful and pleasant overall.

What's not to like about this place? Almost always in stock on common DIY household items, knowledgeable experts available at every turn, and the Pro-Desk folks are awesome. They are the epitome of customer service. Greg, Cathy, Irene, and the big cheese Blair go out of their way to help. As a Pro who doesn't have a lot of time to pick complicated orders, one phone call or email with a materials list and Voila, it's ready for loading at a time that's convenient for me. I can't say enough about their friendliness, knowledge, and experience.

Chris from lumber made about 17 saw cuts after my lumber purchase. Was polite, helped with everything and was efficient. Didn't make you feel like it was a burden like other Home Depot locations. Excellent experience.

I was in the store for less than 5 minutes and at least 7 people greeted me as I walked past them, without approaching me and without being intrusive, some with big warm smiles and some with laughter after they said “good morning” instead of “good afternoon”. It made me want to walk around the store for another 10 minutes even though I had everything I needed.

Best experience I’ve ever had in any store and I was in there for under 5 minutes.

When we walked in, we were not knowing what light fixture to buy for our new home. But Home Depot had an amazing variety to offer which was excellent. To add to that, one of their expert staff Mr. Vir was extremely helpful and provided us with very professional advice, which helped us select the best choices from the multiple brands. Vir was very knowledge with all the products and their features and could easily guide us based on our home layout and decor. Especially his calm nature transformed our originally nervous expectation into a fun filled customer experience and we ended up buying 4 beautiful chandeliers and light fixtures. We will always be coming to Home Depot from now on for all our hardware needs thanks to Vir! !

Came in to find a specific tool that was unfortunately out of stock. I talk with multiple staff members who all seemed very happy to help me despite being very busy for Christmas in the store. I even managed to get my key cut while I was there, only five dollars and took one minute.

I had a chance to visit the Guelph Woodlawn location yesterday evening Feb 9th and spoke to the flooring deparment' sale rep KAMAL. He amazed me with his knowledge. KAMAL spent so much time educating me how to install the vinyl flooring. He was so friendly and professional, taking me from aisle to aisle, just to get me understand what he was talking about. Having employees like KAMAL will ensure the success of Home Depot. Thanks again. I did make a right choice buying all my supplies from Home Depot.

I love home Depot for the products and prices but this location goes beyond by having amazing staff that are always friendly and helpful. It's a very stark contrast to some other locations in the GTA where staff usually avoid you or are impossible to find

My visit to Home Depot was great. I went in with a particular plan. They didn't have what I was looking for. They didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. They suggested where to go to get what I wanted. They were very helpful.
